Since that fateful early morning, Sakusa has come to the café multiple times a week just to see the blonde
Changing his schedule ever so slightly, just to make time to visit the coffee shop
When he walks in, he was always greeted with a bright smile from his favorite barista
Staying a few minutes after receiving his order, just to have a conversation with Atsumu, became a part of his routine too
As much as he wants to flirt and scoop the adorable barista up into his arms, taking him home to ravish him. But he can't..
He can't break off this engagement to Suzuki, it would go against his father's wishes
So he'll make do with this predicament
And that brings us back to another early Monday morning, a few weeks after Sakusa's first visit
The ravenette yawned softly as he pushed the door open, getting a cheerful welcome as always
"Goooood Morning! Do ya want yer usual?"
Atsumu smiles brightly at the man, a small blush resting on his cheeks
"Good morning Atsumu-kun.."
Sakusa spoke a little groggily, still a bit tired from staying up late to finish last-minute paperwork
"Yer normally pretty awake by now? Are ya alright?"
The blonde asked, worry evident in his voice
"Yeah, I'm fine.."
He spoke as another yawn interrupted his sentence
"Just..a bit tired- I had some last-minute things to handle last night"
"Make sure to get enough sleep tonight!"
Atsumu pointed a stern finger at the man along with a small pout and furrowed eyebrows from him trying to mimic a serious face. Sakusa let out a small chuckle, bringing a hand up to his face, trying to hold back from laughing
"I'm being serious Sakusa-san!"
A snicker was released from the other, making the blonde male cross his arms and fully pout. God his pouting was fucking adorable
"Haha.. Don't pout now blondie, You look too cute like that and I don't know if I'll be able to resist~"
Sakusa teases the barista with the obvious attempt to flirt. Atsumu's eyes widened and his cheeks flushed a light red before he stammered out
"I- I'm just trying to look out fer ya!"
"And I appreciate that"
The barista smiled at him and giggled at his remark
"Good~ I don't want my favorite customer to get sick now"
"I wouldn't dare to get sick on you, princess~"
Atsumu's heart raced at the pet name, his cheeks heating up more than before
"You-"
"Me what?"
"Nothing- Do ya want yer regular?"
"Yes please~"
Sakusa spoke in a teasing tone, watching as the barista calculated the total
"And yer total is 1,245¥"
"There you go"
The ravenette paid with his card and soon after the blonde walked away to begin making both drinks
Yes, Sakusa has been ordering the same drink Atsumu had made him on the day of their first meeting
He, for one, found it delicious and it seemed the blonde put a lot of work into it
Sakusa continued to watch the barista's movements like he always does
Each time he makes those drinks, his eyes light up at the end result, knowing he's made the most delicious drink for the customers
Sakusa adores that from him, he seems to put a lot of hard work into his job even though it's part-time and only seems to pay enough to get by
It's obvious that the blonde loves his part-time job, and Sakusa still can't help but admire that
When Atsumu is finished making his order, he walks over to his customer and hands it to him with a smile
"And yer order is done! Made full of love like always~"
The blonde told the other who chuckled in return
"And the love is very much appreciated~"
They joked and laughed together for a few minutes, flirting ever so slightly, before Kiyoomi's phone dinged
He checked it to see it was a message from his fiancé, Sakusa sighed before opening the text
Suzuki: 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩'𝙨 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙤 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜?
Sakusa: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙖 𝙗𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚, 𝙄 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙜𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙬. 𝙄'𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙚.
Suzuki: 𝘼𝙡𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙮, 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 <3
He turned off his phone at those words

Sakusa thought. The text leaving a sour taste in the man's mouth
"Who was that?"
The blonde questioned, slightly curious as to what could have ruined Kiyoomi's mood
"Just work..I'm normally there by now and a coworker texted me wondering where I was"
"Ahh, well then I shouldn't be holding ya up! You need to get ta work!"
Sakusa smiled and chuckled a little bit
"Hai~ I'll come back tomorrow"
"Wait! I'm off tomorrow- I have morning classes"
"Oh..then I'll see you on..?"
"Saturday"
"See you on Saturday princess~"
Atsumu giggled as Sakusa walked out of the coffee shop, a drink in both hands
Getting in his car, he's greeted by his fiancé
"Thank you~"
She smiles as she took her coffee from him and he placed his drink in the cupholder
"You're welcome"
He replied before silence filled the air as he pulled out
Miho glances back towards the almost empty parking lot and then to her fiancé's drink, glinting at the number scribbled on the side of it
