It dropped slowly onto my tongue. It was cold and lasted about 2.5 seconds before it melted into water. Staring up it seemed like an infinitive bliss, it was beautiful, and as the little snow flakes dropped down I felt like nothing could touch me.

I felt like it was just me and the millions of flakes rushing down onto my scalp and onto my clothes, soaking me with little puddles as it quickly became something it was not in the beginning. And then for that split second, I forgot about my problems.

I forgot about my ill mother, my un present father, the unpaid rent and school. I forgot it. It was simply me and my little flaky friends.
