When I woke up in the middle of the forest, a little over 10 years ago, the sun was at its best. The singing of the birds was the only thing that broke the tranquility of the forest and the fresh breeze that rose had made me shiver.

I got up from where I was lying on the floor. I looked at my clothes and hands which were dirty with mud and what appeared to be dried blood. I didn't know what had happened to me, I couldn't remember anything or how I had gotten there. I should have been scared but the only thing I felt was an immense relief as if a great weight had been lifted from me as if I was finally free.

I remember searching the place for any sign of where it might be, but I didn't recognize anything. I didn't worry, I kept walking until I found a river where I could wash. I looked at my reflection in the water, I could tell that something had changed in me but I didn't know what.

Suddenly I was on alert, I could feel the danger and the adrenaline running through my body. I stood up and started running, I had to escape, hide. I knew that this was the only way to survive. To what? I don't know, but I had to if I wanted my freedom.

That same survival instinct is kicking in right now. If these werewolves could smell my moods, they'd be more nervous than they are. My anxiety is at a level that even I can't stand, but externally I am alert, one step away from running for my life.

I observe and analyze each of the wolves, there are twelve in total: nine in animal form and three in their human form, all alphas. None took their eyes off me, when I took another step back they all growled and some threatened to pounce. I stayed still, on alert, watching Taehyung, who had his back turned, looking at each other with a boy who exuded great power, he was tall, with brown hair and broad shoulders, he held a sword and his eyes had a particular shine. They were communicating through their mental link. And it was there that I knew it was not a good idea to accompany him.

Royal Pack - CastleSeokJin's POV

It had been three days since we were not known where is Taehyung, three days since Yoongi was not taking his medications and was about to lose control, three days since Namjoon was unbearable, three days since my parents went on trips, quiet trusting us with the pack and the kingdom, and everything was going down the drain.

As the eldest of my brothers and future king, I had to keep calm and think cold, not let myself be carried away by emotions or instincts, although when it comes to Taehyung, it is a bit difficult. Luckily, I had Hoseok by my side to help me stay focused. Indeed, I was with him when I was informed of intruders approaching the northern border of the pack and that possibly one of them could be Taehyung.

When we arrived at the border with Hoseok, it was indeed Taehyung, he was standing in our territory with clothes that were not his, nor his style, he gave me a slight smile, but I could see sadness in his eyes. Something had happened to him, it was clear. I wanted to hug him and tell him that he was safe, but I had to appear neutral. I looked him straight in the eyes and spoke to him through the mental link:

-What happened?! Where were you, Taehyung?! Do you know how worried we were?!

-Hyung! Something happened, I...

He was unable to finish because grunting could be heard from the members of the barracks on duty. It was there that I realized the girl who was on the side of the free border.

-Who is she?

-OH! She helped me and healed my wounds. Now we must help her.

A gleam of happiness appeared in Taehyung's eyes as he remembered that the girl was there. I couldn't continue asking him because he turned around and walked over to her.
