"Wow sick party man" I say to Peter.
"Thanks, hopefully the cops don't bust it this time. Gosh my neighbors are very rude" Peter says
I laugh and then I see the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. Shailene Woodley.
"Hey I'm going to go and talk to Shai"
"Alright good luck man. She's hot"
My stomach started to turn. I've had a crush on Shai for... I don't even know how long but long. The music was playing loud. People splashing water from the pool.But I zoned it all out and focused on Shai. Gosh she looked hot. Why must I like her soooo much!?
Shai P.O.V
I was talking to my best friend Christina when I see Theo walk up to me. I can't tell if I like him of not. I mean he's hot, amazing at sports, kind hearted but he seems like he's full of himself.
"Hey Shailene"
"Hi Theo,but you can call me Shai. I like it better"
"Ok Shai. Are you having fun?"
"Yeah. Are you"
This conversation got really awkward.So I told Theo I was going to go get a drink.

After Shai said that I knew she wanted to end the conversation and it was kinda humiliating even though no one was watching us.
"So what happened" Peter asked
I told Peter what happened and how she walked away.
"Oh, I'm sorry man. But I'll hook you two up. Shai and I are close"
"Alright thanks"
