Chapter 6

Shais P.O.V

So today's the last day of summer break and I plan to spend it all with Theo. She's amazing, the way he looks at me makes me feel like I'm the only girl in the whole wide world. So I decided to text him:

Hey wanna go out today?-S
Sure! We can go on a hike since you love the nature and have a picnic-T
Omg I would love that. Thanks so much. XOXO-S
No problem beautiful pick you up at 12-T
Alright see you then-S

It was 10:00 so I had enough time to get ready. I look a shower and blow dried my hair. My hair is naturally wavy/straight so I don't like straightening it because I could damage it. I put on black spandex and a loose red volleyball shirt is role from my friend Jessica. After that I put mascara and a light lip gloss. When I was done with that it was 11:45 so I had 15 minutes left and I watched Modern Family. Theo arrived at 12:07. He came and kicked in the door, I opened it and I kissed him on the lips

"Mom I'm going out with Theo, I have my phone so text me if you need me!" I yell to my mom who was downstairs
"Alright, be careful. Love you"
"Love you too" I yell

"Hey, you look extraordinary"
I chuckle.
" Hi and Theo, I look gross but thanks for the competent babe, and you look good yourself"
" No you don't. And I didn't kiss you back so-"

And he kissed me. And of course I kissed back.

"So where are we going hiking" I ask
"Billy Memorial Park" (I just made that up)
"Oh, I've been their before when I was little so I don't know around that well"
"Well, shall we go."
"We shall" I say

Theo P.O.V

As soon as we get their Shais eye lit up like a Christmas tree. It's a good thing I choose to go on a hike.

"Hey Theo, I don't think we should stay out for too late because it's the last day of summer and I need to get ready in time"
"It's okay Shai, I agree with you"
"Alright so it's 12:33 so well leave around 5ish"
"Sounds great" I say. I like her ideas. She seems so smart at the littlest things. I love her. Wait, did I just say I love Shailene Woodley
