Chapter 7

Theos P.O.V

..did I just say I love Shailene Woodley.

Yes you did Theo. wow. so this is what love fells like. Like you would do anything for them. You sacrifice yourself.

Shai and I went hiking through the trails. We hear birds singing, dogs barking, the leaves crunching under our feet.

"Gosh, this is beautiful" I say looking at Shai.
"Yeah, I love nature. it's so sad that the humans have to ruin it and can't see it's real beauty."
"Oh no I was talking about you. how beautiful YOU were. But I agree with you about the nature thing" I say
"Aww Theoooo." She leans in and kisses me
"How about we go get a picnic table?" I ask
"Sounds great" shai says excitedly

///////skips lunch////////

"Goddamn that was so freaking good"
"Gosh Theo I know it was good but I didn't think you would like it that much" Shai says
"Anything you make I love"
"Oh my gosh theo, why are you so nice and cute"
"Look who's talking" I say

During that while conversation Shai was blushing and smiling. And I couldn't stop myself from doing the same. She makes me sooo happy.

"Theo I think we should start heading back. It's 3:59 and it takes a good 55 minutes to get back." Shai says
"Of course my love"

During the walk back me a Theo hold hands. But I almost fell but Theo catched me. He's so strong. But gentle.

"That hike was amazing, I think I just lost like 2 pounds!" I say
"Shai how could you possibly loose any more weight, your already a twig." Theo asked
"I'm sorry, I just don't like a lot of food"
"It's alright babe, lets go"

Theos P..O.V

I'm scared to let her go, I don't want to because of what happened last time.
I pull up to her driveway

"Bye babe" Shai says sadly
"I'll walk you to the door"

I get out and jog to her door and open it for her and then I take her hand close the door

"What a gentleman! That's why I like you"
"Why thank you my lady" I take a bow

Shai chuckled after that. I love it

We get to the door and I place my hand on her cheeks and kiss her.

"You sure you wanna go in?" I ask
"Theo, I love how defensive you are but I can handle myself "
"Alright, just promise me you'll call me if you need me"
"I promise" she says
"Good bye my beautiful girlfriend, Shaliene"
"Good bye Theo" she whispers, kisses me and then walks in her house.

I walk back to my car and drive home. I take a shower and then eat dinner.

"So, how was you day with Shailene" my dad asks
"It was amazing, but call her Shai. And I really wa t you to meet her"
" I wanna meet her too" my mom says
" Yeah me too" my sister and brother say
"I meant, I wanted all of you to meet her"

And dinner went on talking about our day.

After dinner I washed the dishes and decided to give my mom a break. After that I went upstairs and dialed Shais number.

"Hey babe" she answers
"Hello my beautiful"
"So why did you call?"
"Oh, so you don't want to talk to your boyfriend?" I say sarcastically
"No I don't. No just kidding, I was just getting ready for tomorrow but I don't care what I'm doing, I'll always make room for you" she says
" aww babe. so anyways I just wanted to know if we are going to tell people about us"
"oh, yeah. umm I don't see why not?- unless you don't want too. I mean we are dating we got nothing to hide so I don't see why not?"
"And that's why I ways need you" I say
" that's why we are perfect for each other."

She giggles

"Um hey Shai?"
"Yeah" she asks
"I l-" I say but cut myself off
"Never mind" I say
"Ok. Bye Theo. see you tomorrow"
"Bye. I'll pick you up at 7:30"
"Ok. Thanks babe"
"No problem, bye!"
"bye" she says then hangs up.

I couldn't tell Shai I loved her. Not yet. Not their. I'm scared that if I tell her that I love she she won't feel the same way and plus I think we might be too early in our relationship. Also over the phone is not a romantic place. I want it to be special. Something she'll never forget.

After that I close my lights close my eyes and fall asleep dreaming about the love of my life... Shailene
