Everyone was asleep. It was already past 1 am but Y/n couldn't sleep. She wiggled around in her sleeping bag. She sighed and got up. She grabbed her phone. Jeongin also couldn't sleep. He kept thinking about what happened in the subway. He thought that maybe this was the time to confess his feelings to her.
He grabbed his phone and texted Y/n if she was asleep. Luckily for him she wanted asleep, so he texted if they could talk. She agreed to talk so he got out of his sleeping bag and left the hanok he stayed in. Not knowing that he woke Hyunjin up.
Y/n put on her jacket as she left the hanok. She walked towards the centre and saw Jeongin standing there, patiently waiting for her. She walked up to him, slightly smiling as a form of greeting. Her hands were in het pockets since it wasn't exactly warm outside.
Jeongin looked down at his shoes. "I think we should talk about what happened in the subway." he said and slowly looked up at her. "Is it needed to talk about? It was just an accident." she said, not ready to actually talk about it. "How it happened was an accident. But I didn't mind it happening." he replied.
In the meantime Hyunjin stood behind the wall of a hanok, listening to their conversation. He didn't know what happened in the subway. He knew he shouldn't listening since it wad a private conversation but his feet didn't let him move an inch.
It was silent. "You didn't mind it?" she asked, being a bit shocked. "No. I'm actually glad it happened. Without that kiss, I wouldn't be able to talk to you like this." Jeongin said. "The kiss meant something for me, Y/n." he said and paused for a bit. He pushed his hand through his hair out of a frustration. He couldn't word himself correctly so he was going to be straightforward with it. "I like you Y/n. I like you a lot. So much that it might drive me crazy." he then said. Y/n froze, she couldn't respond. So much was going through her mind.
"Hey you two!" someone in the distance yelled. It was one of the teachers who walked up to them with a flashlight. Hyunjin saw this as a cue to quickly go back to the hanok. "You shouldn't be out here so late in this cold. Go to bed. You can see each other in the morning." he said. The teacher sent them back to their hanoks.
_________________________________________Morning arrived with a wide awake Y/n leaning against the door. She never imagined friendships to get so complicated. Her two best friends, both liked her. She knew who she liked. It was obvious. She only had to think of him and she would be all smiley. She sighed. "AAHHHH!" Jiwoo screamed. Y/n's appearance had scared her. "What are you doing there?" she asked. "Thinking." Y/n replied. "Were you doing that the whole night?" she asked. Y/n nodded. "You should clean up. You look like a zombie." "It's a new look. Don't you like it?" "No. Not even one bit."
