There they sat again, admiring Y/n from a far. There were okay with it for now. Y/n was a track runner and she was really good. At least in the eyes of Jeongin and Hyunjin. In reality she wasn't that great at all.

They were drinking their strawberry milk as they kept watching. It was already after school time. The track time took a break and Y/n approached them. "You guys must really like track." she said as she sat down next to Jeongin. "Something like that." Hyunjin said and gave her strawberry milk to drink. "Oh thank you." she said to him.

"So what's your record now?" Jeongin asked. "Still the same. It might look easy to you guys but breaking your own record is not easy at all. It's the hardest thing ever." she said. "Why's that?" Hyunjin curiously asked. "It's basically a race against yourself." she replied. "YAH BYUN! BREAK TIME IS OVER!" the team leader yelled to her. "Well I guess I gotta start again. Bye" she said as she smiled and waved at them.

They watched her walk away from them as she looked back once more and waved once again. Jeongin felt his heartbeat rise. He didn't hear anything anymore, his focus was fully on Y/n.

"Hello? Earth to Jeongin." Hyunjin said as he waves his hand infront of Jeongin's face. "Huh?" he replied as he looked at his friend in shock. "It's getting late, we should go home." Hyunjin said. Jeongin grabbed his phone and looked at the time. "Oh no! I should go! I'll see you tomorrow." he said as he rushed off.

Jeongin stood in the convenience store again. "I'm so sorry, you need to help out this late." the manager said as he quickly put on his jacket. "It's fine. I'm happy I can help out." Jeongin said. The manager apologized again and then rushed off. Jeongin sighed as he looked at the clock. He was supposed to be watching a movie with his little brother, but he simply couldn't refuse his manager's emergency call.

He sat down behind the cash register and leaned his head onto his palms.

The bell of the door rang as a girl went inside. Jeongin didn't look up but simply said "Welcome."

The girl went to the cash register and that's when Jeongin looked up. "Oh since when do you work at these times?" Y/n asked. "Oh it just happened to be like this today." Jeongin replied as he scanned her products. "I've never seen you here before. Do you live in this neighborhood?" Jeongin asked as he looked up at her for a second.

"Oh really? I've seen you work plenty of times. I've always lived in this neighborhood." she said as she friendly smiled at him. "It's hard to not notice you." she said making Jeongin blush.

She put the scanned products into her bag and took out her wallet. "That'll be $5,60." Jeongin said. Y/n gave the money and left.

Jeongin noticed she forgot something and rush to the door with it. "YAH Y/N! You forgot this!" he yelled as he held up the food and the drink. "That's for you! Enjoy it!" she yelled back. She walked away, when Jeongin couldn't see her anymore, he went inside.
