Philippa turned her head as if she was possessed.

"I'm not going to tell Father. So there's no need for Nanny to be in trouble."

It sounded like it was about the violence that Philippa displayed, but it was actually about the embezzlement.

Philippa quickly understood and changed her eyes. Navia really had no intention of accusing the embezzlement. For now, even if the furious Nikan dealt with Philippa, it was a problem for later.

'It's dangerous if I give the impression that I'm manipulating his people to get rid of them.'

Navia gladly opened an escape for the embattled Philippa. Although there will be another dead end.

As Navia, who was acting like a devil, became gentle, Philippa's heart had a small margin.

'Just what kind of dream is this?'

Is it the rebellious stage? Children do that. There are times when they are sneaky and devilish but become satisfied and gentle with a surprisingly small reward. Perhaps Navia has been dissatisfied with her recent unfair situation?

'...Yes, that's it. If a proper meal is given for a while and there is less scolding, she'll soon think she won and be dumb as a loser.'

That's how Navia is. She was born a low-level noble who would get overwhelmed by little attention and would rejoice until her eyes would be red.

'That's why you're a lowly noble!'

Philippa was so deeply sympathetic to Wood's contempt for such a lowly aristocrat. She forgot that she was just a nanny of a great aristocrat and a commoner.

'The master provided such an appropriate reward for such a lowly thing. Then you'll be even more stupid.'

So while Navia is relaxed, she could hide the evidence of embezzlement. Such a thing could be covered in three days. The problem is that the maid named Charlotte heard about it...

'How do I deal with her?'

Hans shouted again when Philippa's eyes were glistening viciously.

"How dare you hesitate when the lady says this!"

Philippa spoke sadly, with a pitiful expression to let Navia mistake herself for winning.

"I will believe your words."

Navia just listened without answering. The calmness without any movement caused an uneasy stir in her mind, but Philippa dismissed it as a useless idea.

This fear was not from a b*tch like that, but a feeling that her master might know.

Philippa went out of the bedroom, reassuring herself.

"Miss, I'll take you to bed."

Charlotte supported Navia, laid her on the bed, and moved to the side table. To be exact, she stood there to cover the tray with her meal on it.

Charlotte was definitely a capable maid. Even when she's aware of Philippa's weakness, she still pretended to be the same person and prepared for any situation carefully.

'After Philippa was caught and killed by embezzlement, Charlotte stole the pie and extorted the child support.'

Charlotte had already bought most of the men who were at odds with Philippa. Navia was going to take advantage of that.

"Then I'll start the examination."

The treatment ended more simply than expected. Navia was prescribed with rest, good food and medicine.
