💃The Music Club Performance💃

Hi guys, sorry I've been gone for a long time, having a yt channel has been my main focus over these few months, so it kinda took over. I also have been lacking motivation. But, dw, because I now am ready to write again 😌 Anyway, enjoy the chapter!

Drew's POV

I'd actually done it!! I'd preformed infront of everyone! And...Jake. He saw me. And for that brief minute or so, we just looked and stared at eachother. In....love?

As I made my way backstage, I saw two familiar people.

"OI! PDA YOU TWO!" I yelled at them, looking away.

They were making out. Again.

They instantly pulled away from eachother, Liam looked really red as he looked at me.

"Oh, um, sorry Drew, we didn't mean to-" Liam began, only to be interrupted by Henry who ran over to me giving me a hug as he exclaimed, "HOLY SHIT DREW, THAT WAS AMAZING! YOU DID SO GOOD AND I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DIDN'T TELL US!"

I laughed, it was nice that they supported me.

"Thanks Henry." I replied, smiling. Liam then looked at Henry, he looked...smug. Henry looked back with the exact same expression, then they both turned to me.

"Soooo, Drew" Liam said, "What were you looking at after your performance?"

I instantly went red, of course those two saw me. It had to be those two, the two that would spend eternity teasing me about it.

"Was it perhaps...someone with beautiful brown eyes? Blonde and red(ish) luscious hair?" Henry began. "And an irresistible smile, a very big simp?" Liam continued.

"Guys stop-" I began.

"Was it Jakey~" Henry giggled, wiggling his eyebrows at me. I sighed, nodding. "So what if it was Jake? Anyway, speaking if him, let's go find our seats, he's performing next."

Jake's POV

It was our go now. All these weeks we've spent together, practicing day after day. We were finally performing.

Me and the club all walked up on to stage as the cheers erupted from the audience. Finally. Our go. We all got into place, me and Hailey at the microphones, Milly with her guitar, Luke on the drums, Zander on the Piano, and Sean at his laptop, ready to start. As the crowd faded to silence, I looked around, scanning the crowd for one person. Just one person. And then, our eyes met. He looked at me, surprised at first, before smiling at me, nodding as he put his thumbs up. And that gave me the extra boost to start.

"Thank you for coming everyone!" I exclaimed. "We hope you enjoy our music." Hailey said shyly.
"Now, this performance goes out to everyone who supported me, the club, my family, my friends, and of course, that someone who is very special to me." I smiled, I winked directly at Drew when I said the last part.

And then, Sean started playing the track, and we began.

Drew's POV

Wow.

His voice was just as angelic as I remembered. And Hailey's too.

Though, of course, I couldn't keep my eyes of Jake. His singing was amazing. And I think it may also have to do with my little bit of a crush on him too.

I watched from the crowd. Thinking back and replaying that moment in my mind and then remembering the fact that Jake had winked at me.

Wait. Hold on.

Holy shit Jake winked at me.

I then went extremely red. That same moment in my mind, over and over again. I can't believe he actually winked at me.

I looked at him, still flustered, watching him enjoy himself. And then, his eyes moved towards me. And we stared into eachothers eyes, as a smile appeared on my face. Everything else around me seemed to be irrelevant in that moment. Just Jake was there on that stage. And I was sat there, there was only me in the audience. And I looked at Jake, for what seemed like forever, as he looked back.

Then the crowd erupted around me. Had it finished already? No way. Had I been so focused on Jake that I'd completely blanked out from everything else? Regardless of that, I started cheering and clapping like the rest of them.

And as I looked up, I saw Jake, staring at me again, smiling so brightly. He looked so happy, and I was glad he was. In that moment, I felt like there was something I needed to do, amongst all the crowds and cheering, he surely wouldn't hear me, but I need the world to know still. I stood up on my chair and breathed in.

"I LOVE YOU JAKE!" I screamed. God, I felt like a fangirl at the arena. But I needed to let that out. As I looked around, I'd noticed everyone had stopped cheering. I was about to sit down, until I realised some people were looking at me. Nevermind, most of them were looking at me.

"Yo Drew, everyone's staring at you." Liam said to me. Yeah well no shit-
"Including Jakey~" Henry added, looking smug.

Wait. What?!

Surely he hadn't heard me.

I looked up at the stage. Milly was there, shaking Jake. And Jake. He was, looking at me. I went red.

Shit. This wasn't meant to happen. He wasn't supposed to hear. I've just ruined years of friendship.

I ran off before anyone could do anything about it.

I have to go. I can't let Jake find me.

Hi guys, like I said, sorry for the EXTREMELY long wait. But at least I finally wrote another chapter.

This kinda sound familiar doesn't it? I 100% said something like that before. Oh well, I'll hopefully get another chapter out, depends on school 👌
