You don't want to eat

You were at home and stared at your spaghetti. You knew you had to eat something, but you couldn't, something in your head was preventing you.

What are you supposed to do? Hailee will be home in a few minutes. She'll see that you haven't eaten and then you'll have to explain it again. You haven't eaten much in the past few days and Hailee obviously noticed.

You took the fork in your hand and to have a bite. You started shaking and you just couldn't open your mouth.
You dropped the fork and started to cry.
Why am I like this? You asked yourself Why can't I be like everyone else?

You get a message from Hailee "I'll be there in 2 minutes."
Fuck. You couldn't just throw the food away, could you? But you had no other choice. You picked up your plate and went to the dustbin. But at that moment Hailee came in.

"Baby I'm home!!"
You didn't said a word, you just stood there in front of the dustbin with the plate in your hand.
"Babe? Are you okay?"
You still couldn't say anything.

She came to you and looked at you. "Oh my god what's going on? Did you cry?" She looked at you and stroked your arms.
You still didn't said anything. You couldn't longer hold the plate from shaking. Hailee understood, she took it from you and put it aside.

"Come here darling it's okay." She pulled you into a hug and you immediately felt comfortable. She waited until you had calmed down a bit, then she looked at you.
"I'm so worried, is there anything I can do to help you?"
You shook your head. "I wish you could but it doesn't help, I just don't want to eat..."

"Would you try again for me? I mean with me together?"
You looked into her eyes. Damn, how could you say no to her.
"Maybe it's easier for you if you eat a yoghurt or something, then I'll eat the spaghetti."
You nodded . "That's really a good idea Hailee that's really easier to start with."
She smiled and kissed your forehead.

Hailee took a yogurt from the fridge and sat down on a chair.  You sat down next to her. She opened and gave you a spoon. "I-I really thought I can do this but-" Hailee interrupted you and took you onto her lap.
"Give yourself the time you need."

You nodded and finally took a bite. Hailee started talking about her day so you didn't had to focus too much that you were eating.

You finally ate it all. "I'm so proud of you."
You smiled and kissed her.
