Phil had been researching for a few days, with Wilbur being locked into his room for all of those days. It was gut wrenching. First, hearing whatever was inside Wilbur attempting to gaslight Phil into leaving him out, and the brief periods of the real Wilbur breaking through. Wilbur just screamed in pain, whatever was in his head was doing something. Phil had to stop it. And immediately. He had found something that was potentially a breakthrough. He called the one person he knew could help.

"Niki, have you heard of.. uh. Dreamons?" Phil closed his eyes, waiting for an answer.

"D-dreamons? Like, the old mythological creatures?" Niki tilted her head in confusion through the phone.

"Uh, yeah. What do you know about them?"

"Quite a lot, actually."

"Oh?" Phil perked up, interested. "Tell me."

"This is very uh, out of the blue Phil." She laughed quietly. "Okay, so-

Dreamons are strange creatures that are said to have come from the Nether, which is a realm no one has dared enter. Or if they did, they never returned to prove it. Many deny its existence in general. Dreamons are formerly humans, but if they pass away within the realm, they become Dreamons.

To talk more about Dreamons, they are hateful creatures. They lose all of their past personality traits and only exist to cause chaos, and upset the balance of whatever they latch onto. A lot of the time, if they are out in public, pretending to live mortal lives, they will latch onto a human they see as particularly vulnerable. Once the human makes eye contact, they will slowly begin to hear voices, their personality will become extremely unstable. Many claim that the person's eyes will have an unsettling red glint. Many families have reported to have lost a loved one while someone they know is in this state. The person latched onto by the Dreamon, is known as a 'vessel.' They begin to lose grip of who they once were, and only exist to cause chaos. They are completely unaware of their actions at this point. On rare occasions, the vessel will break the Dreamon's connection to the voices momentarily. This is usually indicated by an erratic movement of the body. Example: A jerk of the head. If this connection isn't severed within a few weeks, the vessel will complete its mission - whatever it may be, and the Dreamon will dispose of the vessel. This is the first, and most likely way a Dreamon will attack a person and/or the public.

There is a second, less common form of Dreamon. Which is a child, who has a Dreamon parent. They are half human, half Dreamon and therefore don't possess the ability to create vessels with merely eye contact. They will slowly infiltrate their way into someone's life. Dreamons are naturally manipulative beasts. They can be displayed as a simple friend, even a significant other. They will slowly plant ideas in the vessel's head. They will make the vessel do horrible things, just because it brings them pleasure. As previously stated, they only exist to cause chaos. They will usually have multiple vessels at once. The weaker aspect to this variant of Dreamon, is that it's only effective until the vessel becomes aware of the Dreamon's actions and distances itself. Most Dreamons of this kind, will also target vulnerable people.

Thousands of years ago, the Dreamons lived in solace with the Goddess of Death, but after an argument, the Dreamons went their own way. They continue to cause chaos, especially when it affects the goddess herself. They will do -anything- to anger the goddess.

Dreamons LOVE tnt.

-it is extremely rare for a human to experience both Dreamon attacks in one life, but not impossible. It will only happen if the Dreamons have something against the person, or their family." Niki finished.

"W-..." Phil began, but found himself tongue-tied.

"Phil? You there?"

"Yes, Niki. I'm here."

"Why do you want to know this?"

"I- I think Wilbur might be a vessel."

"W-what?"

"Niki... Could you just come over? I can't explain this over the phone."

"I- Oh! Um, okay. Yeah, sure." Niki hung up the phone, and bit her lip. "Fuck.." She mumbled to herself.

Phil heard the bell ring, and a familiar cold voice trying to reason with him. "Phil! I can just escape out of the window, you have no control here. Just let me out so I can finish what I need to d-... NO! DAD DON'T LET HIM OU-... Phiiil, let me out, you can't keep your son in here!" Phil cursed under his breath and ignored 'Wilbur.' He opened the door for Niki and smiled weakly. Niki walked straight into the apartment. "Where is he?" She asked. Phil scratched his head awkwardly, "I uh, I had to lock him in his roo-" Phil was interrupted by a loud crash coming from Wilbur's room. Phil let out a shocked yell when he saw Wilbur had bashed his door down and was standing menacingly in the doorway. "Why would you lock your son in his room, Phil?" His head was tilted to the side, his voice had a slight echo. "You're not my son." Phil spat at the vessel. Niki gasped. "Why would you say that to Wil!?" She shouted at Phil. Phil continued to glare at Wilbur. "That isn't Wilbur. That's a Dreamon." Phil replied icily. Wilbur raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Oh? You figured it out. That complicates things. I'll be taking my leave-" Wilbur's head jerked to the side once again. He fell to the floor, gasping. "GRAB ME. DON'T LET THEM LEAVE!" Screamed an exhausted, much more emotionally drained Wilbur. Niki immediately dived forward and pinned Wilbur to the ground as his eyes regained their glow. "Let me go Niki." He demanded. Niki's eyes narrowed. "Over my dead body." She spat. The vessel struggled against her grip and Phil rushed over to help. They held him down and he tried a different approach. "Ph- Dad! It's me! Normal Wilbur! Let go! The voices are gone!" Niki tightened her grip, she knew the Dreamon's game. Phil was not as sharp, he let go of Wilbur and that was all he needed. Wilbur kicked his leg, knocking Niki backwards as he jumped up with a trademark smirk. It wasn't the smirk they had all grown to love, it had a dark, twisted undertone. Niki grabbed her stomach and screamed in pain. "Oh you silly man, Phil. I could have left that whole time! I just like fucking with you. Au revoir!" The vessel saluted, and ran. "FUCK!" Niki screamed. Phil went pale. "Niki.. what is he going to do?" Niki laughed hopelessly.

"Oh Phil. We're fucked."

"W-what's going to happen?"

"Remember I said Dreamons love TNT?"

"Fuck."

Tommy walked out of his room to see a broken door hanging from it's hinges, Phil and Niki sitting on the floor and a strict lack of Wilbur Soot. This wasn't a good start. "What the fuck." He uttered. "Where the fuck is Wilbur?" Phil had told Tommy about his suspicions of Wilbur being a vessel. Which had most definitely proven to be true, so you could imagine Tommy's fright when the one thing they had to do - namely, keep Wilbur inside - had failed. Phil bit his lip. "He... broke out."

"Oh fuck. We're fucked." Tommy placed his head in his hands. "Do you know something we don't, Tommy?" Tommy nodded, looking ashamed. "Wilbur told me not to tell anyone, but that was before we knew he was a-... Yeah. He showed me a blueprint." Niki perked up, "What was on the blueprints, Tommy?"

"He uh, he-" Tommy began to stutter.

"Hey, hey Toms. Speak slow." Phil replied.

"He's building something huge with TNT. He showed me everything. He's blowing something up. I don't- I don't know what he's using it on, b-but-"

"TNT!?" Phil and Niki simultaneously shouted.

"Y-yeah."

"What would he use TNT on?" Niki mumbled.

Tommy looked down again, Phil noticed. "Tommy, you need to tell us everything you know."

"You- you know that Wil's old boss.. that he's running for mayor-?

I think- I think he's rigging the festival..."
