Tre and I was talking our communication has been awful. I feel guilty because it's my fault. I'm the one who started acting different.

" Baby I promise you, you have nothing to worry about ". He said kissing me.

" I know but it's scary when you go out and not contacting me ". I say.

" I know but after this you will never see August and his people again ". He said.

" Tre it's not about that ". I say lying.

" River then what is it about ". He asked.

" I don't know I can't explain ".

" Man you need to smoke a blunt ". He said shaking his head.

" Maybe ".

" But my friends are still coming over tonight ". I added.

" Coo coo I'll invite August over ". He say.

" Sure ".

" Now can we have a little time to ourselves ". He said kissing my neck.

Tre POV

River had her friends over and shit. I don't know why but the energy in this room is awkward. It was like River was trying to avoid me at all cost.

" No why the other night Bri handed me a bag with jewelry in it ". Angel say.

" I had one nigga try to pay me in diamonds ". River say.

" Girl you know you took it ". Jamie said laughing.

" And did ".

The back door opened and it was August and his people. They some cool ass dudes I fuck with them for real. Ain't met no chill niggas in a long time.

" What's up ". I said.

" Hey ".

I saw River look at me then she looked at August but she was staring at the nigga.

River POV

It's always a good time having the girls over. It feels like I'm in another dimension when I'm with them.

" And did ". I say smirking.

People try to pay with anything other than money like I don't just don't get that.

I heard the back door open and saw August. My heart when to my ass it's like every time I see him I get butterflies. I hate that he was back around me but part of me wanted to know what happened after I left. Like what did he do. It felt like I was jealous because I just didn't know what happened to him. But it's on me I'm the one who left without notice. Is it normal to have these mix emotions? I feel like a bad person.

I looked at August and felt like high school again. His pretty ass smile and his accent. The way he carried his self, the way he dressed. Everything about him was sexy. I just wanted to talk to him.

I felt someone hit me and it was Chi she looked at me like I was doing something wrong.

" Girl you staring a little too hard ". She whispered to me.

" Oh ".

" What's up y'all ". Chris say to us.

Angel POV

August is literally fine as hell. River ass better hop back on the before I do because he is a different type of fine. You knew he wasn't from here like the way he acted and dressed.  I'm tired of seeing these Cali nigga dressing and talking the same. I can see August and River together and I wanted them to be together. I don't know I never liked Tre for her he was just too good to be true. It's like we don't know his story he's just a person. Maybe that's just me. But Chris he was a little fine light skin. I don't fuck with light skins but him I need a piece.

" Y'all talking about me staring ". River say looking at me.

" What ".

" She's just admiring ". Hazel say laughing.

Chris look at me and smiled and my ass blushed.

" Ooh is there something between y'all two ". Chi said smirking at me.

They started walking over towards us and I got nervous. GIRL YOU KNOW AIN'T NO NIGGA EVER MADE YOU NERVOUS.

" Y'all asses tryna smoke ". Tre said.

" Yes bruh ". Jamie said.

Chris sat next to me and looked at me. I smiled at him and looked at River who was taking this all in.

" While y'all roll up I'm about to get a snack ". River say.

" Damn make a snack for all of us ". Hazel said.

" I'll think about it ". River say getting up.

When she got up she tripped over Jamie legs and y'all THIS BITCH FELL INTO AUGUST LAP. My heart started racing for her stupid ass. We all looked at each other and Chi eyes got big as fuck.

August POV

I don't know if it was awkward to see River but it felt right. Seeing her made a nigga excited to wake up in the morning. I sat next to Jamie who was eyeing my ass. I knew she didn't like me she made that shit obvious.

" While y'all roll up I'm about to make a snack ". River say.

" Damn make a snack for all of us ". Hazel said rolling her eyes.

These girls got personalities only the strong can survive. But they all balanced each other out somehow.

" I'll think about it. River say getting up.

When she got up she tripped and fell onto my lap. I didn't know what to do but just freeze up. The smell her of perfume hit my nose. It smelled like coconuts and the beach.

" Got to be a little careful ". I say to her.

" M-My bad ". She say stuttering.I looked into her eyes and I got butterflies.

" River get yo ass up ". Tre demanded.

She got up and walked up. Chi eyed me and smiled at me. Then Angel she winked at me like they know something. They probably do, River probably told them everything.

" Well that was awkward ". Lola say.

Half way through the smoke session I was lit as hell. We took hella shots and was smoked hella blunts.

" Ooh a nigga need a nap ". Chris say.

" Same ". Angel agreed.

You can literally feel the chemistry between them. Angel would smile at Chris and he would give her a stare. The would be cute for each other. Totally opposite but that's the best part right?
