She woke up to see a note saying "Dear Lilac we have went out to farm. -Mother and Father." She went, sat on the couch and thought about what mother said "Its just another mouth to feed" Mother was right. Lilac took the fish outside and put it in the Jade River. She was about to leave when she heard someone say "Thanks". She turned around and saw the fish splashing around in the water. "Hello?" She said. "Down here!" The person said. She looked down and noticed it was, the fish! "Woah," she said. "Thank you for letting me free. For that I will tell you magical stories each night. So, I hope you like stories." The fish said. Lilac smiled with joy. She loved stories. Her parents never told her any though. "Come here tomorrow night and I will tell you the stories of The Mountain Man" the fish said. Lilac said to he fish "Thank you! Now, what is your name?." "I'm Jade." The fish said. "As you can see I'm a girl" "Nice to meet you Jade, I'm Lilac." "Goodbye Lilac I nut run." Jade said and swam off. Lilac walked home and told her parents she had set the fish free. She laid down in her bed and slept, dreaming about whoever "The Mountain Man" was.
