Izzy places her body in an expensive leather chair positioning herself opposite dr. Hannibal lecter. Although she is not having a therapy session, she had concerns about will graham that she needed to inform hannibal with. Izzy used to be extremely close with will but recently she has started to fear him and even tried to take his life a few weeks ago.
'So, dr. Lecter, what do you know about will graham?' Izzy asks curiously, she needs to know every last detail about will so she is certain on who he really is.
'Please, Isobel, call me Hannibal. I refuse to treat you like a patient, i will only treat you like a friend.'
Izzy acts strangely to this sentence. first thing hannibal addressed her with her full name which she hates anyone calling her and secondly he said he was her friend. Izzy is confused, does he really think im his friend? Does he have feelings for me? She questions in het mind over and over until hannibal starts to speak again
'Will graham and i have or should i say had a very close relationship. We had sessions every other day, that was until I discovered who he really was. The chesapeake ripper. I had been treating a serial killer. I am happy for you izzy, if you would of got any closer to him he could've taken your life. A young beautiful girl like you, dead because of trusting the wrong person.' Hannibal starts making direct eye contact with izzy and is hinting at his feelings towards her
'Um, ok thank you for that information. Is there anything else you know about him that the police perhaps don't?' Izzy is shocked that hannibal called her beautiful. Startled but also worried, if hannibal and her take their relationship further, would that trigger anger in will and make him kill again. Izzy stops thinking when hannibal starts speaking again.
'Izzy please, tell me exactly what you are thinking at this very moment. You look dazed and startled, why is this?'
