Chapter 3

Levy slumped into the green sofa. "Can you believe that guy?" She said angrily. Lucy sat next to her. "It does suck that he ruined your drum, but like he said, it was an accident." Levy nodded and sighed. "Yeah, you're right." She puffed out her cheeks. "But still don't like it."
Juvia walked into the room, a broad smile on her face. "What're you so happy about, Juvia?" Levy asked. Erza walked in behind her, "She's convinced that she's found the love of her life." Juvia nodded excitedly, "Oh, Juvia has! Didn't you see him?" She fanned herself. "He was absolutely beautiful. And that voice!" She swooned. Lucy giggled. "Looks like you've got it bad, Juvia." Erza crossed her arms. "Do you even know his name?" Juvia looked up. "Not yet. But Juvia will learn his name tomorrow when they come to the studio." Levy sighed. "Right, they're getting a contract...."
"Cheer up, Levy. I'm sure they're actually nice guys." Lucy said optimistically. "And if they're not," Erza cracked her knuckles "I can always teach them some manners." The girls all laughed.

"This is the place?" Gray asked as the boys arrived at Fairy Tail records. The company owned a huge skyscraper that housed recording studios, offices, apartments for the employees, and a pub. Jellal nodded. "Yep, this is it." Natsu ran through the doors. "Come on, slow pokes!"
"Wait for us, idiot!" Gajeel grumbled as they followed Natsu into the large building. They were soon greeted by Mira. "Hello, Slayers. Welcome to Fairy Tail Records. If you would follow me, we'll go talk to the boss about your contract." She led them into a glass elevator and pushed the button for the top floor. The doors opened with a ding. "Mr. Makarov?" Mira asked as she knocked on the door to his office. "Come in." He answered. They all piled into the office, seeing a short, old man seated behind a large desk with the name Makarov Dreyer on a plaque. "So, I hear you're the new band Mira wants to hire." The boys nodded. "Well, go on. Play something." He said, gesturing to the various instruments he had around the room. They all picked up their instruments and began to play while Makarov listened with his eyes closed. "Hmmm." He said after they finished. "Yes, I like it. You're hired!" "Just like that?" Jellal asked. Makarov nodded. "Yes, just like that. Mira, as soon as we're done with the contract, give them a tour."

"And this floor houses employees, if they so choose." Mira said as she led the boys on their tour. "The rent is practically nothing and the apartments are great. Would you like to see some?" "Yeah, sure." Gray shrugged. Mira turned down the hall and knocked on a door. "Lucy?" A familiar blonde opened the door. "Yeah, Mira, what's-" she stopped as she noticed the band behind her. "Oh, you guys."
"Hey, you're not still mad about that accident, are you?" Natsu asked.
"Well, I'm not, but Levy's still a little upset." She said. "But come on in, we can properly introduce ourselves this time." They entered the apartment and gathered on the couches and chairs around a low coffee table. "I'm Lucy Heartfillia." She said politely.
"Natsu Dragneel." The pink haired man smiled.
"Jellal Fernandez."
"Gray Fullbuster."
"Gajeel Redfox."
"They've just finished signing their contract." Mira said.
"So are you guys looking to get apartments in the building? They all look pretty much the same as this." Lucy said.
"Well-" Gray started before Natsu covered his mouth.
"Yes, we are." Natsu smiled widely as Gray glared at him. Lucy chuckled. "Well then, welcome to Fairy Tail."
