The Call

It was a sunny day at the park, Bryce and Blits were out on a walk for the day. "It's nice day today huh?" Bryce smiled at his fiancé. "Yes, it is my dear echidna." Blits smiled back at him, it was a month and a half since their proposal to each other, and they were happy about it. As Blits and Bryce were about to share a kiss, Bryce's phone vibrated. "Huh?" Bryce picked up his phone and answered "Hello?". "Hey Bryce!" Elizabeth spoke through the phone. "Oh! Hey Elizabeth! How you doing?" Bryce responded back to her and she said "Oh, I've been doing good today and you?". "Doing good, just at the park with Blits." He look at his fiancé who smiled back to him, Elizabeth responded "That sweet of both of you! Hey, I was wondering if you guys can do me a favor.". Bryce then responded "Sure, what is it?". "Well, my husband and I are heading out tomorrow night, and we needed someone to keep an eye on Jaqueline. I was wondering if you guys can babysit her while we out." Elizabeth answered. "Oh! uhh... sure." Bryce answered. "Excellent! So come by tomorrow around 6:00 pm." Elizabeth responded. "Okay, but can I ask you something?" Bryce responded and Elizabeth spoke "Oh? What is it?". "I don't mean to be rude, but why couldn't you asked Elijah or Shira?" Bryce asked. "Oh uhhh... let's just say the last time Elijah kept an eye on Jaqueline, things did not end well and Shira will also be out on her own tomorrow night." Elizabeth answered. "Well, alright then." Bryce responded. "Great! I see you guys tomorrow!" Elizabeth hang up the phone, Bryce looked at Blits and said "Well, I guess we have babysitting to do.", Blits nodded and said "I have a bad feeling that things won't go so well like what she said about Elijah.". "Well, we gotta at least try." Bryce suggested, Blits shrugged and said "Alright then.". "Plus, I think when she said it didn't end well, probably because Elijah was the one who made things didn't go so well." Bryce said and Blits responded to him "Hmmm maybe.".

- The next day

    Bryce and Blits were walking their way to Elizabeth's house. "Heh, you ready Blits?" Bryce said to his fiancé. "Ehh, kind of." Blits responded. Bryce knocked the door and waited until Elizabeth or Raoul to answered. A moment later, Elizabeth opened the door and said "Hey guys! I'm so glad you came!", Bryce nodded as he and Blits walked inside her house and said "Yeah, we came here for a right time.". "Elizabeth, you look beautiful with that dress." Blits complimented her and Elizabeth said "Awww, why thank you Blits. It is my favorite dress I used to wear during my date with Raoul.", Raoul came in with Jacqueline and said "Glad you guys came! Jacqueline seems to have missed you both.". Jacqueline was reaching into Blits arms as Blits grabbed her and gave her a hug, Blits looked at Raoul and said "Yeah, she sure missed us alright.". Jaqueline was snuggled up in Blits' arms as he blushed a bit. "Yup, she does miss us." Bryce said, Raoul chuckled and turned to his wife and said "Are you ready hon?" Raoul held her hand. "Yeah, I am." Elizabeth answered. "Go on and have fun you two! We'll take it from here." Bryce smiles and gently pushes the two out of the door. "Alright then, her food is the fridge if she's hungry, and if she ever throws a fit give her the Stitch plush, it always calm her down." Elizabeth responded and Bryce answered "Alrighty then.". "And of course keep her away from anything dangerous." Raoul added. "Okay, we got it taking care of. It would be easy to take care of her, now go and enjoy your night lovebirds." Bryce responded, Elizabeth giggled and Raoul said "Hehe alright, we're going to be back around 9:00 pm.". Elizabeth and Raoul closes the door leaving Blits, Bryce, and Jacqueline together.
