Donna POV
I was tending to Alcina's wounds when her little boy poked his head around the corner, "I thought you were told to hide in your sister's room?" I said, "Who you?" he asked, "I'm your auntie Donna." I said, "Not giant." he said making me laugh, "No, no I'm not. That was pretty much just your mother." I said, "Mama dead?" he asked, "No, she's just sleeping. Once your sister comes back with what I need she'll be good as new." I said.
I was just about finished with Alcina when she woke up. "Donna?" Alcina said groggily, "I'd hug you, but I just got done stitching your wounds. I met your son, he's a sweet boy and he's worried about you." I said, "He's a good boy." she said, "Mother Miranda ordered us to kill you. She said that you're a traitor." I said, "I take it you're here to do just that?" she said, "If I was I would've let you bleed out." I said, "I'm here for you. I want to help you." I said, "What happened to you, Donna? Your eye it's normal." she said, "Well my control of hallucinogens has gotten better. I'm changing the perception of my face for everyone around me, but you can still see it in my reflection." I said, "Well that's just fantastic. You all have gotten stronger while I'm just a pathetic human woman whose only remarkable trait is being ten feet tall!" she said, "Alcina." I said, "Just stop. I'm going to my room, stay or leave. I don't care." she said as she staggered to her room.
"Alcina come on, you're human now you need to eat real food." I said as I knocked on her door before going in and found a sealed envelope with the names of her children written on it and one next to it for me.
Alcina POV
I was drawn to the park and found a woman and a baby. "Well I wasn't expecting you, but then again we do share a special connection don't we Alcina." the woman said as she turned to face me.
"M-Mother Miranda!" I said in fear, "Now I wasn't here for you, I'm actually here for Donna. Hand her over and I'll let you go." she said, "Why are you after her? I'm the traitor according to you." I said, "Oh Alcina, so self-centered. Donna has something of mine and I want it back. She also threw Angie under a city bus, Rose rather enjoyed that doll." she said, "Not everything is about you. In fact, it's only luck that you survived Ethan's attack. He was meant to kill you in your castle." she said, "W-What?" I said, "Oh yes. You and your siblings were never supposed to live. You really messed up my plans." she said, "Well then it's a good thing I learned a thing or two about humans!" I said as I pulled a handgun from my waistband and shot her in the head, "Well now I can't let you go." she said as the bullet was pushed from her head, "I really did care about you Alcina. But you were never a child to me." she said as she plunged her hand into my chest and crushed my heart.
Donna POV
Alcina was gone for days, eventually, we found her, well what was left. she looked happy and at peace. None of us could believe it, Alcina Dimitrescu was dead. We opened the letters she left us. The kid's letter was her telling them how much she loved them and to keep each other safe, but mine was different, mine was simple and clear. 'Protect and raise him.' that's all she wrote, she also left me a few other gifts I thought were long gone. "Girls I want to be alone with (y/n)." I said, "No not happening." Daniella said before I gave her my letter, "Let's go." she said as she led her sisters away. "Sweetie." I said softly as (y/n) cried, "I know it hurts and I can't make the pain go away. It's not fair to her to do that, but I will make it hurt less and make sure you don't grow up without a proper mother." I said as I hugged him and used my hallucinogenic powers on him to permanently alter his memories placing myself in a maternal role alongside Alcina. "Go ahead and cry your heart out, lord knows you have every right to." I said as I comforted him as the photos Alcina left me fell to the floor.
"Goodbye Alcina." I said softly.
