Chapter 2

A month passed since they shared that kiss and Chippie was gone on a trip to a relative's house for a while. She was sent away for a while as the events that happened were cleared up and made clear it was safe for her to return. Dani was walking around the village hoping she'd come back, because he missed her more than he has missed anyone in his life. He went to the exam field but, when he got there he saw someone else there and he couldn't tell who it was. "Ah Dani, nice for you to come by," said the mysterious man. Dani looked at the person and asked, "Who are you?" The mysterious person turned around and said, "I am the lost guide, I came to guide you to your chosen destined path," the person said as he turned around. They stared at each other and Dani spoke, "Tell me your name at least." The mysterious guy looked at him and replied, "You may call me Xeno." Dani only stood there and looked around then back at Xeno. "What is it you need to tell me anyways?" Dani said curiously. Xeno moved closer to him and spoke, "Be weary, for the path you have taken, could lead you to your destruction or your triumph," he paused then continued, "Watch over her, the one you love, for she is the key to your awakening of destiny." Dani only blinked and said, "So Chippie is gonna be the key to my awakening?" Xeno then made a sword appear, it was of average length, had so inscriptions on the blade all the way down, and it had a strange sense of energy in it. "Take hold of this sword young one and take the first step to your destiny," Xeno said with a stare that went straight through Dani. Dani hesitated at first, then he reached out his hand towards the sword and felt a sharp jolt of shock. He knew he had to grab the sword and couldn't give up trying to hold it. As Dani was reaching for the sword, he heard a voice that was familiar, "Chippie," Dani screamed with agony from the shock. The next thing he knew was he was standing with the sword firmly in his hand, "Wh-What happened?" He said confused. "The sword accepted your will to wield it Dani, this is your first step into your destined path," Xeno said with an accomplished look. Dani looked at the sword, then over to where Xeno was supposed to be, and he wasn't there anymore. Dani looked around for him but never found him anywhere. He was standing there when someone came and told him Chippie was coming home. He got really happily excited and when running towards the gate forgetting all that just happened. Dani ran as fast as he could to the gate cause he was ready to see her again and couldn't wait to feel her in his arms again. Halfway there he stopped and realized the sword was in his hand still. The events that happened with Xeno came back to mind and he hesitated to go to Chippie at the gate. 

Meanwhile on the outside of the village, "How much longer until we get back to the village?" Chippie asked a guard. The guard said nothing for a while and said "In possibly five minutes, your highness." Chippie was excited and couldn't wait to see Dani again. She missed him more than anyone else and she craved to feel him close again. As they were getting close to the village, they were blocked by a mysterious female and she said, "I shall speak to her now and if you wish to interfere, I promise you'll regret that decision so step aside now!" Chippie only watched as all the guards stepped aside and this mysterious person got closer to her. "Who are you?" said Chippie concerned with fear. "You needn't worry young one, I am only here to warn you of a fate coming for you and Dani" She said with a serious look. Chippie only looked at her wondering what she meant. "There is a chain of events in motion, you need to listen closely to my warning or you will fall to a fate so devastating, so horrific, it'll take all you love and rip it to millions of pieces" She said as she moved closer to Chippie. Chippie stood there and said, "Dani." The mysterious person only shook her head and said, "If you wish to help protect him, you must fight with him in these dangerous events to come, are you willing to possibly sacrifice yourself for him?" Chippie nodded and asked, "But first, who are you?" The mysterious person took off her hood and said, "I am KariEsta, the guardian of your bloodline, I have protected you and all of your ancestors before you child." She only stood there while Chippie looked at her with a confusion and asked, "What do I have to do to protect him, I have to know what to do, I'll do anything to protect him, he's all I have and I love him." KariEsta nodded and said, "Come here and ill reveal it to you," Chippie moved closer and KariEsta took her hand and placed it upon her forhead and said, "Release." Chippie had an overflowing mind opener which caused her to be able to know all and gained all the knowledge to fight. KariEsta then handed her a sword, it was similar to Dani's only it had a red tint to the blade and the heath had an inscription upon it which read 'Love.' 

On the inside of the village Dani was waiting at the gate for Chippie. The gates finally opened, Chippie came walking through and Dani ran and picked her up and hugged her. "I missed you," Dani said to her and she whispered, "I missed you too."  Dani noticed that she was holding something, "What's that?" She looked at him and said "Its uh..." She stalled and Dani noticed what it was before she told him. "That's a sword isn't it?" Dani said curiously. She only nodded and said, "Yeah and I see you have one too, where'd you get it?" Dani looked at his sword and said, "Some mysterious guy named Xeno said I needed it for my 'Destined path' or something, where'd you get yours?" Chippie looked at him and replied, "A woman named KariEsta gave it to me, so I could-" She stopped before she said it cause it upset her. Dani only looked at her and pulled her close, hugged her and said, "Stay by my side okay?" She looked at him and said, "I planned on it anyways," She leaned in and kissed him softly. At the exact same time they said, "I love you" and held each other tightly and went back to their house.
