Chapter 6

A week had passed since Dani laid with her that night which terrified Chippie so much that she feared sleeping. There were multiple times Dani had to rush and calm her down. There seemed to be moments when it only got worse and she couldn't be calmed so easily. Tonight is one of those nights and Dani hasn't been able to sleep for a week. He was completely exhausted and could barely keep doing all this. He was drifting off when a loud crash suddenly awoke him and Chippie went into a complete terror but couldn't seem to wake up. Dani heard something outside and went running after it. "So this is the remarkable Dani, eh?" Said a mysterious figure in the moonlight. Dani stopped and turned to look at them. "What a shame isn't it Dani, that you can't even save her from her own nightmares," The mysterious figure said with a sly smirk and Dani became enraged. "It was you, you are the one I saw that night a week ago, the one who started all this!" Dani yelled at them. The mysterious figure walked where Dani could see him and said, "You know I would never hurt you right?" Dani was now stunned and didn't know what to say. "You wouldn't hurt me right?" they said with a sorrowful look. Dani started saying in denial, "No, it can't be, you are supposed to be dead, I watched them execute you for your treason." The mysterious guy said, "I committed no treason, they all framed me remember, it all happened in front of you." Dani was stunned as this image of everything came into his head and he said, "Is this really how it happened?" The mysterious figure looked at him and said, "Yes that is right, it is exactly how it happened I promise." Dani stood there and thought on it for a while when he said, "I see well I suppose that is true." They stood there when Dani came behind him and held his sword to their back. "I am no fool, you are not who you say you are for revival or even being undead is so forbidden you would've been eradicated, so tell me who you are now!" Dani said in an angry tone. The mysterious figure changed forms and said, "My name is Nero and I am your demise Dani!" Nero moved so fast Dani couldn't even see it and was blown back so far he landed in a wall twenty miles away. Dani was so shocked he couldn't move when Nero showed up in seconds and grabbed him by his shirt and threw him into the ground ten feet down. Nero was now above him in the sky and was building up this blast in a form of a ball. It was full of nothing but dark energy and growing so large it was like the moon. Dani couldn't even move when he heard, "You should bow before me Dani, for I am and always will be much stronger than you, DeNova has bowed to me and you shall perish!" Dani had given up all hope when he closed his eyes and heard the voice of Chippie saying, "Don't give up, remember your strength, remember for me." Dani's eyes jerked open and he went busting out of the ground. He went straight for Nero who was building this giant blast and was about to send it at him. "Nero, I swear to you that I will not lose, I am not so easily mistaken, I am not so easily beaten, and I will never give up!" Dani said charging at him. Nero smirked and threw his deadly blast at him with all his might. Dani's sword appeared in his hand and he said, "For true love is my strength, she is my light and my hope, she is all I'll ever need and power is only temporary, and this is for her!" Nero's blast was right at Dani's face and he didn't stop going. Dani went straight into the blast and Nero only said, "Well looks like I win, and looks like you shall always lose, goodbye Dani forever." Nero was leaving when he heard something and turned around to see that Dani hadn't died yet. "Nero, I have told you I shall not give up and remember this, true love shall always win!" Dani said when he slashed Nero in half. Dani then continued to slash him in half more and more until there was a million pieces. "Now it is finished Nero!" Dani said in a sigh of relief. Dani had to get to Chippie in a hurry and try and save her.

                Meanwhile in the village, Chippie was still stuck in her dreams of terror. No one could even get close to her and she only got worse. "If this continues, she will surely die," A mage said out loud. "Where is Dani?" A guard shouted to everyone. They all looked around and couldn't find him anywhere. Chippie was screaming louder and now seemed to go out of breath. "She's already dying!" People shouted. Dani came busting into the room minutes later and said, "Is she alright?" There was no one in there anymore and she laid there in silence. Dani got closer, "Chippie, are you okay?" There was no sound from her and Dani asked, "Chippie, please answer me, it is okay now and please awake now, tell me you are okay, please?" There continued to be a silence and Dani started crying, "Chippie please wake up, I need you please, just don't go away, I need you I can't live without you and I don't want to be alone anymore" The silence was destroying Dani and he screamed with all he had. Dani was in tears when he leaned over her and whispered, "I love you and I'm not saying goodbye to you I promise" Dani leaned down and kissed her gently. "I will always love you I promise, there will be no other, you are my forever and I'm not letting it end here" Dani said softly. He started to walk away and leave when he stopped to look back, "This isn't goodbye." Dani left the room and started going for the main gate to leave. Chippie jerked awake in her room and looked outside to see Dani going to the gate. She could tell something was wrong because of how he acted and she needed to get to him fast. Her heart was telling her to go as fast as she could. She shouted, "Dani, Dani stop!" Dani was walking and thought, "good to know her voice will be in my head." Dani got closer to the gate when Chippie came in front of him and said, "Hey look at me Dani, I Love you just stop moving." Dani walked right into her and looked up and said nothing. He picked her up and spun her around. "How are you, when did you, just what?" Dani said confused and extremely happy. "True love finds its way my love, just like I found my way to you," Chippie said as she kissed him gently and held onto him. "Forever?" Dani asked. "And always I promise" Chippie said.

                Meanwhile in an unknown location, "So Nero, how is he now?" said a mysterious guy. "He is almost ready my master," Nero said bowing to him. "Good, this is all very promising and now allow me to tell you our next plan," The mysterious guy said. Meanwhile back in the village, Dani felt a sudden jolt of something terrible to come and he said, "Chippie listen to me, we need to prepare now, for something terrible is coming and I can feel it." Chippie nodded her head and said, "I know, and we will do it together."
