Today was a hot day in the Encanto, but it was perfect weather for people to come out of there homes to spend time out in the fresh summer air. Young children were playing tag, young couples were walking down the streets holding hands, and the rest of the community just seemed to be very content. As for Madrigal familia, their day wasn't much different than the townsfolk. The grandchildren were outside spending time bonding with each other for what seemed to be the first time in a very long time. Isabela making colorful flowers and plants, Mirabel sketching away the many plants and flowers in front of her, Luisa giving little Antonio a piggy back ride, and Camilo putting on stand up act making Dolores giggle.

The adults were like many of the adult figures in the Encanto, finally sitting back in the chairs and relaxing. Julieta wasn't in kitchen like she always is, but sitting in a recliner chair sewing together one of Augustine's ripped trousers. Pepa didn't seem to be anxious, for she was surprisingly very calm holding Felix's hand reclined back in her chair snuggling up against him. Abuela Alma wasn't reclined in her chair, but was sitting up seeming pretty content reading one of her favorite books. Bruno on the other hand, wasn't with the adults. Bruno strayed away from his familia, walking (More like jumping from one brick to another) down the colorful streets of Encanto.

Bruno never was in large crowds, nor was he ever really with a group of people. He preferred to be alone enjoying his days, having his own air to breath. About to jump onto another brick, Bruno once again recited his mantra whispering "Sana Sana Colita de Rana."

After he jumped and landed successfully without touching the cracks, he flapped his hands happily. This was a wonderful feeling for Bruno, knowing he wasn't hurting the cracks on the ground. His abnormal compulsions somehow seemed to comfort him, it was the only thing that prevented him from his meltdowns. 'Sana Sana Colita de Rana'

He continued jumping from one brick to another, reciting his comforting mantra over and over again along with his hands happily flapping afterwards. Giggling as he did so, his outside world didn't exist, for all that did was the feeling of relaxation and peace. What he didn't realize outside of his own little world of content was the snickering and whispering of people creeping up on him doing his mantras. This didn't effect him, they weren't that noticeable anyway. As he continued jumping from brick to brick, the snickering and the whispering grew a little louder. This was noticeable at this point, but he chose to ignore it. A hysterical laugh broke free from a buff man, exposing the the group of people around him.

Bruno stopped his mantras immediately and looked behind him. Startled by the fact that he didn't know they were behind him caused him to jump a little and fall backwards. After seeing him clumsily fall backwards, the whole group of people were hysterical. Their laughs broke free and their fingers were pointed at his small shaking body.

The buff man that first broke out a laugh said, " Did that freak really just now notice us?!"

The whole group of people laughed louder, some holding onto other people to keep themselves from falling to their knees laughing so hard. Bruno's green hazel eyes filled with tears as they continued laughing at him.

Another man, but less buff said, " Guess he's just mental!"

Bruno hid his face with his hands, his whole body curled up in a ball against a building wall shaking uncontrollably. He wanted to run away to his mama, but he couldn't. It was like he couldn't move his body.

Another man with a red beard said, " Aww... what's he gonna do, cry?" Once he said that, the crowd laughed even louder.

A chocked sob left his body, he was unable to even think. As the crowd laughed even more, he grabbed a good chunk of his curly hair and started to pull it. Pulling his hair was indeed very painful, but he didn't care. He just wanted them to leave... he just wanted his mama. Before he knew it, someone in the crowd of people threw a stone at him in the face. Blood was now dripping from his left cheek. A muffled scream left his fragile body, trying to not make any sound at all.
