[SPOILERS: This is after the ending. I decided to use Space Core's name in Blue Sky because yes. They're also humanoid in this because why not. We love us some anthropomorphic cores.]

It's been about two and a half years since the whole incident - and Wheatley and Kevin are still in space. Wheatley heaved a deep sigh as he laid there in the vast nothingness, years in contemplation and, most importantly, annoyance with Kevin's antics. The ginger is always still full of life, passion, and excitement even after all these years. But the same surely couldn't be said for the latter. The blonde bluebell core has lost his spark and joy. Back in the day he was just the same as Kevin - easily excitable, zealous, and very talkative as well - almost to the point that he could almost be seen as a nuisance. Well, to Aperture, he is, considering all the chaos and ruckus he has caused during his short-term reign back when he was still down on Earth.

And today was just like another day. Kevin loudly expressing his obsession and passion for everything space... While Wheatley was full with it. Moreover, overflowing with it in such copious amounts that it could almost surpass the size of the entire Milky Way. Wheatley groaned, "Mate, it's been about two years or so. I think we've fully established that there are indeed stars in space!" Kevin only chuckled as a response to this as he inched closer and gingerly pressed his pristinely cold hands on Wheatley's surprisingly soft cheeks. "Why are you so grumpy all the time?" He asks. Frankly, the latter was rather dumbfounded at witnessing Kevin being able to say that. Let alone form proper sentences. All they knew is that the only thing he can scream about is space. Unintentionally, to prove Kevin's point, Wheatley frowned. "Don't you ever just get tired? 'Cos I surely am." He answers. "It's been two bloody years since we've been blasted out of Earth's orbit and stranded floating in the middle of absolute nowhere! Why'd you think I'm so grumpy?!" The blonde bursts out as he throws Kevin's soft hands off in such an aggravated manner.

Kevin frowns a little. He averts his eyes away with a moment to ponder before turning back to the latter with yet again another rather zealous expression as he motions to the astonishing vast canvas of the space around them. "Well yeah, but look at all of this! Isn't it neat?" This clearly didn't help at all. In fact, it only made Wheatley more annoyed, and it was made obvious by his deadpan expression. "No mate, not at all." The Englishman groaned. Kevin then pouts, "What about me?"

"What?" Wheatley genuinely seemed baffled. Kevin then rephrased his previous question. "Am I neat?" Wheatley opened his mouth but suddenly closed it, turning rather speechless. It was a quick answer, with no hesitation whatsoever, to say that the young core was an absolute nuisance and is the epitome of annoying. And on any other day, that is surely what he would say. But after the two and a half years they both have been together, his opinion has surely changed. Though Kevin can still be a bit of a nuisance, Wheatley is extremely grateful to have him around, and grateful that Kevin's keeping him from truly going insane.

A small smile forms on the blonde's pale face. "Yeah. You're pretty neat, Kev." He then gave the short ginger a pat as the latter marvels in the moment, along with a small giggle.
