*Andrea's POV*
1 week later...
I was standing in the door frame of my bedroom looking around at all the emptiness. This would be my last time in the house for the rest of my life, the house I grew up in. So many memories were created here, all of which I will never forget.
"Hey loser"

I turned around and saw Morgan standing on the top of the staircase looking at me. I ran towards her and engulfed her in the biggest hug.

"I'm going to miss you more than anything" I cried into her shoulder. We've been best friends since the day we were born, I felt horrible for leaving her.

"I'm going to miss you too, but hey, look at the bright side! I've heard North Carolina boys are prettyyyy cute!" She nudged me in the arm and winked at me. We both just looked at each other and laughed.

"Morgan, just promise me one thing. You are going to slay all of freshman year and find a super cute boyfriend that I approve of, okay?"

"Oh dear, I'll try! Just kidding, I'll do my best to survive high school without you. It'll be tough though, considering the fact that everyone here kinda sucks." She chuckled trying to make me laugh

"Ugh, I know! Maybe one day I'll run into the Griers, although I doubt that will happen." We both were literally in love with the Magcon boys, especially Nash and Hayes.

"ANDREA DO YOU REALIZE YOU MIGHT SEE THEM ANY TIME OF DAY NOW BECAUSE YOU'LL BE LIVING IN NORTH CAROLINA?!? OH MY GOD DUDE WHAT IF YOUR NEIGHBORS I-" I cut her off, she gets a little crazy sometimes.

"MORGAN. BREATHE." We both just busted out laughing. I knew there was no way I would meet them, but I wasn't even going to bother explaining that to her, I was too upset about everything going on.

*BEEP BEEP* I heard a car honk outside and I knew that was my cue to leave, the cab was here to take us to the airport.

"Well, I guess this is it. I'm really leaving." I sat down on the staircase and began to cry. I didn't want to leave.
Morgan sat down beside me and put her arm around me, trying not to cry. She began to speak.

"Listen to me, you're going to have a great time in North Carolina. I know you'll miss everyone here, but you can always call and FaceTime me and all of our friend anytime you want! It'll be okay, and we can visit all the time. I'm still planning on coming up there this summer. Don't cry you're going to make me cry!"

Maybe I should be focusing on the positive sides, it can't be that bad in North Carolina. I'll just have to get used to it. Morgan and I got up and made our way out the front door. I took one last glance inside the house, before shutting the door and meeting up with my parents outside.

I gave morgan one last hug and said goodbye. Morgan stepped off to the side of the driveway. The driver began to pull out onto the street, as thunder began to roar and rain began to pour. As we pulled around the corner, I turned around to look back one last time, and before I knew it, we were at the airport.
