4- new neighbors

*Andrea's POV*
After exploring the house some more, I decided I should probably get ready to go over to the neighbors. I mean, I'm not going over there in sweats and a crop top. I walked over to a box that had some of my clothes in it. I rummaged through it, and ended up finding a decent outfit.

I was wearing black leggings, a PINK hoodie, and my white hightop converse I took my hair out of my bun, and pulled it into a nice ponytail. I put on a little bit of concealer, mascara and lipgloss. I didn't want to look like a try hard, even though I had no idea who lived next to me. I walked down the stairs to see my parents unpacking.

"You guys ready to go over to your friends?" I asked

"Oh uhm, your mom and I have to run to the grocery store, but you can still go over there. They're expecting you!" My dad said grabbing the keys to the car.

"But it'll be awkward if I'm alone." I stated clearly annoyed.

"Hun, you'll be fine, they're nice people! We'll meet you there in an hour, we'll be eating dinner there tonight." My mom said as she grabbed her purse and giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Just go, have fun!" and then my parents were out the door.

Ugh. Why do I have to go alone. I walked out the door, shutting it behind me and locking it. I walked across my driveway onto their front porch.

"Here goes nothing." I whispered to myself before ringing the doorbell.

I waited for about 20 seconds until the door opened wide. My heart dropped to my stomach. Elizabeth Grier just opened the door. Oh my god the Griers are my neighbors what what what what I was screaming on the inside.

"Ahh, hello! You must be Andrea! I'm Elizabeth, Elizabeth Grier." She pulled her hand out to shake mine

Breathe Andrea, Breathe

"Uhm, yes! I-I, I'm Andrea. It's very nice to meet you." I say shaking a little bit

"Well why don't you come on it and meet the family! Sky! Come down here!" Elizabeth yelled up the stairs

Skylynn came down in a princess dress, it was adorable. Skylynn came running to me and hugged my leg. I laughed and bent down to give her a hug.

"Hi, I'm Skylynn! What's your name?" She was so cute!

"I'm Andrea, it's nice to meet you cutie!" I smiled at her

"YOU ARE SO PRETTY OMG!" Skylynn snapped her fingers together and laughed.

"Aww, thank you Skylynn! But you are much cuter." Skylynn giggled and ran off to play with her toys. Elizabeth looked at me and then realized something.

"Oh! The boys! Sorry, they've been up in their rooms all day playing some new video games. One second." Elizabeth laughed and yelled for them to come down.

I knew that I was about to loose all my chill on the inside, but I had to stay calm. I don't want them to think I'm some crazy fangirl. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Nash Grier was standing right in front of me. Okay, stay calm, breathe.

"Hey! I'm Nash, and you are?" Nash asked pulling me into a tight hug.

"I'm Andrea, it's nice to meet you!" I returned with a smile.

"That's a beautiful name. Hayes will be down any second. He's too caught up in this new game we got, I told him he had 30 seconds to come down or I'm going back up to get him." Nash laughed and I laughed right along.

"NASH WHATS SO IMPORTANT THAT I HAD TO STOP PLAYING MY-" Hayes yelled as he was coming down the stairs but he stopped when our eyes locked. He was wearing his Davidson Day basketball shorts, with a white tshirt, his hair down and shaggy. His blue eyes were piercing into my soul.

"EARTH TO HAYES!" Nash shouted snapping his fingers in front of his face. Hayes snapped back into reality and came and stood in front of me.

"Uhm, h-h-hi, I-I'm Hayes." He said very shaky. I don't really know why

"Hey, I'm Andrea! It's nice to meet you, Hayes!" He pulled me into a tight hug and I almost melted. He smelled amazing. Is that creepy? Maybe?

*Hayes' POV*

I was in the middle of playing an intense video game with Nash when my dad called us down. I was not going to
stop playing this game no matter if the president was down stairs.

"Come on, man, the new neighbor is here. Mom wants us to meet her." Nash said pausing the game.

"DUDE!" I shouted at Nash

"You have 30 seconds to get down there, or I'm coming back up and it isn't going to be pretty." Nash shut the door and walked out. I killed one more guy and turned off the Xbox. Might as well get this over with. I was walking down the stairs, about to yell at Nash.

"NASH WHATS SO IMPORTANT THAT I HAD TO STOP PLAYING MY-"

I stopped shouting when I saw the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in the living room. I stopped dead in my tracks and just admired her for a minute.

She was wearing black leggings and a hoodie, her hair was in a ponytail, and her eyes were shining so bright. She was talking to Nash about something and laughing. Dang, her laugh was cute. I needed to get to know this girl.

"EARTH TO HAYES!" Nash snapped his fingers in my face and I came back to reality. I continued down the stairs and stood in front of her.

"Uhm, h-h-hi, I-I'm Hayes." I was so nervous I was stuttering. I stood there waiting to finally know what her name was.

"Hey! I'm Andrea, it's nice to meet you Hayes!" She smiled at me and I couldn't not give her a hug, so I just went for it. It was a really nice hug, she smelt amazing too. Is that creepy? Maybe?

All I knew was, that in that moment, I needed to get to know this girl.
