Staring out of the window of the train, I watched the passing trees. I couldn't help but imagine how cold hogwarts would be, but it wouldn't be my problem. I'd be cooped up in front of a fireplace inside a blanket. Not my problem.
"Please tell me we're almost there," Alex complained.
I laughed, looking at him sitting beside me. "I'd tell you, but it wouldn't be the truth."
He groaned, sinking back into his blanket. "I don't like this train."
I laughed. "Alright, baby."
He mocked my words, making me laugh.
"And your plans?" Astoria asked, looking up at me.
I shook my head. "Alex, Harry and I are just going to avoid home and hang out wherever we can."
"Do you have to socialize with him?" Draco groaned.
Alex rolled his eyes. "Yes we do. My dad is an asshole, but Harry's not half as bad as he is."
"A bit worse," I joked, making Draco roll his eyes.
Suddenly the cart door opened, and we all looked up. I groaned, before looking out of the window again.
Mattheo Fucking Riddle.
"Fuck off," I bit, seeing his reflection in the window.
"I need to talk to you," he said, and I scoffed. "Now, Ribbons."
"Screw you," I laughed, looking up at him. "You're an asshole."
"Outside," he ordered.
Next thing I knew, I obeyed. I stepped outside the cart, and he shut the door.
"What-"
"You had no right to tell Olivia that," he started. "What were you thinking? She hates me now-"
"Why should I care?" I laughed. "You're a prick! You lead me into believing I was worth your attention. But I was only a game. A piece to get Olivia's attention."
"I actually wanted you-"
"But the pretty little Olivia arrived. What happened?" I asked, frowning. "She has your devoted attention and love all of a sudden. What, am I not good enough?"
"Com on, Ribbons," he groaned. "Please. It's Olivia. You should've known-"
"Yeah, I should've," I bit. "But I was naive enough to think you liked me!"
"I did," he said, and I scoffed.
"No you didn't. Clearly not."
Mattheo sighed, pushing his hand through his messy hair in exhaustion. "Ribbons. I did like you. Olivia is just special. She's Olivia-"
I shut his voice out as he continued talking. I noticed my wand in my pocket, and a cursing idea pierced into my head.
Suddenly I grabbed his wrist, and pulled him after me into one of the bathroom stalls. He frowned, watching me lock the door.
"Ribbons-"
I pulled my wand out. "Shut up, sit."
He surpringly obeyed, and sat down on the closed toilet seat.
"I'm not sorry," I lied, lifting my want.
"What are you going to do?" he scoffed. "Kill me?"
"Obliviate," I whispered, and his eyes lit with the realization, before the spell hit him.
A tear fell from my eye, before I lift my wand to my own head.
"Obliviate," I whispered, and the thought of Mattheo left my mind.
