Chapter 23

Alex-*looks down at Austin and runs his fingers through his hair* You're not alone, you've got me
Austin- *puts a pillow over his head* I know Lex but I mean I want a boyfriend
Alex- *looks at Niall who nods his head then turns back to Austin who finally removed the pillow and his eyes are red. Alex gently stroaks his cheek* I could be your boyfriend
Austin:um Ni can you leave for a sec?
Niall: yeah I'll be in the kitchen if you need me*leaves into the kitchen*
Austin:*sits up and faces Alex*Alex we already did this once.
Alex:I know and I miss you. I should've never let you go. Harry never really meant anything to me all I've ever wanted was you.
Austin:so you broke up with Harry?
Alex:yeah last night.
Austin:Lex I-i don't know.
Alex:just think about it. I don't need a definite answer right now. Take your time to figure out what you want.
Austin:I'll think about it okay?
Alex:sounds good to me*smiles lightly*
Niall:*walks back in*you couldn't just say yes could you?
Alex:*throws a pillow at him*shut up

With Justin

Vinny:justin....
Justin:yeah?
Vinny:I've been thinking. I want you to be happy and everyone knows you and Austin are meant to be.
Justin:are you breaking up with me?
Vinny:no. I'm telling you that you and Austin are meant to be together and I'm not gonna stand in the way of that. So whenever you're ready to call it quits with me and start a new chapter with Austin just tell me. Austin deserves all of you and you deserve Austin. I don't want to be the reason you guys never talk again, or date, or mess around, or even start a future together.
Justin:what if Austin never wants anything to do with me?
Vinny:then I will be by your side till the day I die.
Justin:I love you Vincent Jacob Paradiso*kisses him*
Vinny:*pulls away*i guess I will always just have to be ready for the inevitable
Justin:I'm sorry. I wish this wasn't happening and that I could be as devoted to you as you are to me.
Vinny: baby stop it. You know you need to talk to Austin about this whole thing.
Judtin:you heard him. He hates me.
Vince:no he doesn't. He's just hurt by the crazy relationship you guys have.
Justin:I know but I hate that I always hurt him. I just want him to be happy. Maybe we weren't meant to be.

Vinny:*slaps Justin lightly*dont say that! You shouldn't put bad energy into the universe.
Justin:I would slap you back but my mom always told me not to hit girls.
Vinny:ha ha asshole, babe seriously he'll come around and when he does you better be there.
Justin:what do you want me to do? Tell him how I feel as soon as he gets home?
Vinny:basically
Justin:no I was joking. Now*wraps his arms around his waist*lets eat ice cream.
Vinny:babe
Justin:I love you
Vinny:I love you too

At 3 am

Justin:we are never going to sleep
Vinny:I'm gonna go get a slice of pizza do you want anything?*walks over to the door*
Justin:for you to come back to bed
Vinny:okaaaaaay*walks back over to him and kisses him*I'll be back*leaves the room and heads into the kitchen*oh hey Austin
Austin:hi Vincent
Vinny:so um how was your day
Austin:fine
Vinny:Austin you know how justin feels about you why are you so upset about us messing around?
Austin:he spent Valentine's Day with you that isn't just messing around and he asked out you. That sounds a lot like dating the guy that is supposedly in love with me, don't you think?!
Vinny:yeah we are dating but it's only because he's waiting on you to come around.
Austin:I've heard it all before. But if there's one thing I've learned it's that justin is a liar.
Vinny:he is when it comes to stupid things. But this isn't stupid. The way he looks at you says it all. And everyone knows it.
Austin:you don't have to convince me. I know he loves me but I'm tired of being hurt Vincent.
Vinny:so give him a chance to show he's changed.
Austin:why do I feel like your just saying that to help him out?
Vinny:I'm am trying to help him but I wouldn't lie for him.
Austin:Vincent can I just talk you for a sec just us. Like I need advice.
Vinny: yeah*they sit down at the table*what's up?
Austin: I'm crazy about Justin we all know that. But he seems so happy with you I don't want to ruin that. Yeah I know he feels the same way for me but I don't want to be in a toxic relationship. And Alex he asked me to date him. And I really have no idea what to do right now.
Vinny:take your time and really think about This decision. And if there wasn't a day that passed by where justin didn't talk or think about you it wouldn't be right. But if the toxicity of your relationship out weighs the good of what could come out of your relationship then I suggest you do what's best for you.
Austin:but-
Justin:*walks in the kitchen*oh um hey Austin
Austin:hi Justin....
Justin:sorry to interrupt I didn't know you were even home.
Vinny:Justin what do you want?
Justin:oh um I was wondering when you were uh coming back to bed?
Vinny:I'll be up in a minute.
Justin:okay*goes back upstairs*
Vinny:sorry what we're you saying?
Austin:you know what nevermind. I'm just gonna take a break from everything.
Vinny:I always go camping when I'm trying to get my thoughts in order. Nature is calming.
Austin:I always used music but lately with this whole becoming famous thing is starting to upset me.
Vinny:so then what else makes you happy?
Austin:Alex and Justin....
Vinny:well why don't you just flip a coin and chose who you want to be with?
Austin:what if they're the wrong person.
Vinny:you love them both I don't think there is a wrong person.
Austin:fine do you have a quarter or something?
Vinny:*pulls one out of his pocket and hands it to Austin*
Austin:tails justin, heads Alex, best two out of three
Vinny:okay
Austin:*tosses the first time it lands on tails, second time it lands on heads and the last time it lands on tails*wow okay.
Vinny:so it's meant to be huh?
Austin:as you proclaimed from the prophecy.
Vinny:*chuckles*yeah well why don't we both go to sleep we got quite a big day tomorrow.
*they walk upstairs saying goodnight and going separate ways*
Justin:hey what was that all about?
Vinny:*shakes his head and lays next to justin putting his head down so Justin can't see the tears in his eyes*
Justin:*pulls Vinny's head up so he's looking into his eyes*what's wrong Vince?
Vinny:Justin...
Justin:Vinny please....
Vinny:Justin forever has to come to an end eventually*lets a few tears fall*
Justin:*wipes away his tears* Vincent what are you talking? Tell me what's going on.
Vinny:I love you I really do but-
Justin:why are you doing this? What happened with Austin downstairs?
Vinny:I'm sorry, I never should've led you on like this.
Justin:before your talk with Austin you were happy we were together and you said you'd be with me no matter what. Now all of a sudden your practically breaking up with me.
Vinny:I'm scared justin. I will always be there for you but I just got you back I don't want to lose you yet.
Justin:*pulls Vinny into a hug*you're never gonna lose me.*kisses Vinny's forehead and comforts him as he cries into Justin's chest*
