The sun has set on the tropical island. You can hear the waves softly crash against the sand as darkness sets in. How... Oddly peaceful. It's almost serene, tranquil. The only thought left is... Murder? Obviously the minds of some drift to that, out of fear that it will happen to themselves or others or the lust, the desire to escape from their tropical prison.

"Attention students! It is now 10pm and therefore, time for you to get some rest... Or not! You could obviously go plot a murder for all I care, puhuhu! Nighty night, don't let any murderers bite~"

Monokuma made his horrible announcement on all the monitors, an alcoholic beverage on the table beside him. Everyone thought he was done but... A strange message played afterwards.

"H--lo? Hey, c-n any--- Hear me? My -a-e is ------! My ---en-s --d I ar- -er- to ----. In a --ve by -h- beach t---e is - m--ror. I --omi-e it w--- as-ist you."

A woman's voice? It was hard to understand and it only played once. It was almost as if her signal was being interfered with. Should you sleep or... Perhaps check near the beach.

Leo was drawing some clocks, the message didn't bother him.

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Azumi was fast asleep at a table, head on a notebook.

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Masako paced back and forth. She couldn't decide if she wanted to check the beach or not.

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Ikuto was flipping through the pages of a comic, unbothered.

Tetra wasn't sure whether to trust the message and so decided to stay in his room and play Tetris on his emulator.

Taeko sighed, deciding to get up and check out the message, despite how badly she felt it was a trap.

Alfonso stood on the ranch breathing in the fresh air. "Someone is gonna die sooner or later. Might as well keep an eye out."

Lucille poked her head out, she was sketching one of the cows when she heard footsteps.

"Whose there?" He asked, not bothering to look.

"Oh, sorry. Me." She revealed herself, fiddling with her lab coat.

"And who would 'Me' be?" Alfonso raised a brow.

Ebony stepped onto the beach, looking around nervously.

"Oh, you're here too?" A male voice asked.

She whirled around, sadly she only had duct tape to defend herself with at the moment.

"Chill, I'm not gonna hurt you." Volcan stepped out of the shadows.

"Whatever. You seen anything?" Ebony sighed.

"Uh, there's a sort of cave thing over there." Volcan pointed.

"Huh. Lets be dangerous idiots and check it out!"

"Hell yeah!" He smirked.

And with that, they both entered the cave. The floor bricks were covered in a layer of moss and vines lined the walls. In the centre, however, was... A golden mirror, completely untouched by age. It looked brand new! That's when two others stumbled upon the beach.
