"Hey, the newlyweds are back." Andy announced as she entered the kitchen with Maya and Carina following behind them.
"Hey cap, how was the honeymoon?" Vic said, hugging Maya.
"It was great." Maya said.
Carina nods her head in agreement, hugging Jack. Their friendship had surprised everyone.
"Glad to see this place didn't fall apart while I was gone." Maya said.
Jack smiles as he hugs Maya. "Of course, you left Andy in charge."
"So what you're saying is that if I had left you in charge, this place would be rubble?" Maya said.
Jack scratches the back of his head. "That is not what I said."
Maya laughed. "I'm teasing you."
Carina chuckles softly and lightly punches Jack's shoulder.
Smiling, Jack lunges forward and lifts Carina up causing her to laugh.
Maya watched them.
Jack spun them around, laughing with the brunette.
"Put me down." Carina laughs out, hitting his shoulder again once Jack puts her down.
Jack smirked at her playfully.
Carina shakes her head and moves back over to Maya's side.
Maya curled into Carina's side. She was starting to feel tired from jet lag.
"I think it's time to get Aspen and head home." Carina says with a chuckle.
Maya looked up at Carina. "I agree."
Kissing her cheek, Carina smiles softly. "We'll see you all tomorrow for the barbecue?"
"See you tomorrow." The team of firefighters said as Carina led Maya from the room.
