It's nighttime, the stars shine brightly, and the the outline of Yoyle Mountain and its abandoned city show dark against the sky.

Anyone from the view of the ground wouldn't be able to see a group of objects falling fast, plummeting from the summit high above the mountain. They've been falling for hours.

Eleven contestants, all solid metal (pretty much guaranteeing their survival if they hit the ground — yoyle metal is indestructible) falling through the air, one clutching an armful of purple berries.

"Want some berries?" Ruby asks, looking to her left and asking Pin.

"I don't. Because I've already had thirteen." Pin answers in her unique staccato voice.

Ruby turns to her right next. "What about you, Book? Do you want any berries?" she holds her stash out to her.

"You are obsessed with yoyleberries," Book says back. "You've been feeding them to everyone."
