Why is it so dark? What is happening? I got up of the cold hard ground and started wondering around the room I was in. It seemed like I was caged in. The only thing I could see from a very small opening was a full moon but other then that it was dark. I then heard a dark and creepy voice say," You trespassed into our territory so now you pay." After hearing that I got freaked and started shouting for help but all I could hear was my voice echoing off the walls. I started pounding on the cement walls. I finially decided to give up and so I sat down in a corner and let the tears come.
"Ah so you see that is where you made the mistake of sitting where we can corner you." The same voice from before said. I had my head in my arms that were placed on my knees so when I looked up I saw black figures or shadows in front of me. They started walking towards me. One was murmuring words and all I could make out were Latin words but it sounded like they were saying 'feel the pain'. Out of no where I felt as if somebody was scratching my back with needles. The pain was unbearable. Just as I thought one was saying 'die' I was being shaken.
"California wake up!" I heard my mom shout frantically. When I finially woke up she look relived. I then rubbed my forehead and felt it was wet. I was completely soaked in my own sweat. All the shadows, the pain, and the darkness was all a dream. Nope not a dream a nightmare.
"Cali, honey go take a shower okay. You have school honey." My mom tells me. I nod my head yes. I get up and get in the shower. I try shaking the horrible nightmare out of my head. When I was done getting showered I changed into an outfit not really caring how it looked on me. As long as I was clothed I was ok. I am not one of those preppy girly girls who spend hours getting ready. In fact I don't have any friends that are girls. I only have one and her name is Angela. The rest of my friends are guys. My best friend is Brock but anyways. I rushed downstairs grabbing my bookbag on the way and started walking to school. My group of friends met me by the stop sign like always. The stop sign was located in front of the so called 'haunted woods'. No body ever dared go in because they were supposedly haunted. It is also because they say that a few years ago a group of teenagers went in and they stayed until midnight. As soon as the clock struck midnight the teeenagers started heading out of the woods but only three of them made it out before the 'dark creatures' as they call them started coming out and attacking them. The other two teenagers never made it out. There bodies were never found either. I don't believe that story it seems to clichè for my liking. We all just stood there staring at the woods.
"Hey, Cali when are you gonna finally dare to go in there?" Jace one of the guys in my group wondered. Yes I admit I don't believe the story but there is a possibility it could be true.
" I don't know maybe when you get a brain." I retort. He playfully shoots me a glare. I glare back and we all start finishing our walk to school.
"No, but seriously you guys we have to finish our dare. We have been putting it back for like a year now." Angela informs us. Crap I thought they had all forgot about the dare. Okay you see a couple months ago maybe a year we all had a sleep over at Angela's house. We decided to go on Twitter and ask our K something followers to send us dares and we would do every single one of them. We are all famous on Twitter and other social media accounts for dares. We never denied a dare. Not once but then we got a dare on Twitter daring us to go into the 'haunted woods'. We had all agreed we would do it soon but as you can see we have been putting it off.
"We can give it a shot in two weeks. This time no fooling around." I say. They all look at me with serious expressions before nodding. We had finally reached school and so we had to part ways since we didn't have the same classes. I walked off with Brock, Jace, and Chase. While Angela walked off with Damion, Vladimir, Alex, and Luke. They had all there classes together and we had our classes together. The only time we saw each other during the school time was during lunch.

It was finially lunch time after all those boring classes. Usually someone does something funny while the teachers gone but all that happened today was people kept giving Brock, Jace, Chase and I reassuring smiles. We gave them smiles back even though we were confused. When we had all finally gathered at our lunch table Angela was the first to speak.
"Okay I know I am not the only one who noticed people giving us reasurring smiles." She said irritated.
"Thank god. I thought I was going crazy or imagining things." I said.
"Yes, like what was that all about." Jace asks. Just as the others where gonna respond Veronica the queen bee of the school walks up to us.
"Hey, we heard what you guys are gonna do and we hope you guys make it back alive." She says and then walks off. The others and I share a confused expression before Brock pulls out his phone and clicks on the Twitter app.
"Guys, we are all over Twitter apparently someone tweeted about us going into the woods so now that's all everyone is talking about." He says. Just as we all pull out our phones I get a notification saying One Direction and Five Seconds Of Summer are doing a tweet cam together. I login and watch there tweet cam.
"Hey guys we're One Direction and Five Seconds Of Summer." The one with blonde and blue hair says.Michael.
" Okay, so today we decided to do a tweet cam in honor of a group of teenagers." Louis says. I glance around my group and they have there attention on my phone.
"The group of teenagers we are talking about are the teenagers who were dared to go into the 'haunted woods'." Niall explains. I look at my friends in shock. Now celebrities are talking about us.
"Anyways we hope you guys make it back alive and you guys have our support. Take care. There is still time to back out. Bye." Luke says and then the camera is off. I get more notifications notifying me that more celebrities are talking about us. Why is it such a big deal.
"That was unexpected." Angela says in complete shock. We all nod in agreement. We all get up and start heading to class with all eyes on us. Even the teachers were cutting us slack. This was gonna be some tough dare.
