Jace's Pov.
I made a big mistake bringing the dare up. Even celebrities are talking about us. The thing I'm afraid of is that if all of us back out of this dare that Cali won't back out. She has never onced backed out of a dare. Then if she goes alone she probably won't make it back alive. I stop worrying and make my way towards the school exit. As I walk out I notice all of my friends gathered by the stop sign. They are all there besides Brock and Cali.
"Hey guys, what's up?" I ask as I approach them. They all look at me with that knowing expression telling me they have an idea.
"Ok so what we are gonna do is make up excuses not to go so only Cali and Brock have to go." Chase says. They plan on ditching the day of the dare. I want to say no that I won't leave them but I am scared shitless. I nod in agreement and we sit down by the stop sign to wait for Brock and Cali to show up. We have already been waiting for to long and they still haven't shown up. Just as we are about to go look for them we hear and ear piercing scream come from the woods. It sounded just like Cali. I give the others a worried a expression and they return it. We cautiously watch the woods to see if anything happens at first nothing happens but then Cali comes running out with Brock right behind her. They both have tear stained faces with scratches and cuts covering there bodies. When they are far enough away from the woods they turn towards each other and wrap there arms around one another.
"Listen to me Brock. You will never do that again. Next time we go in you will be prepared not just run in." Cali tells Brock while whipping tears off from her cheeks.
"I'm sorry Cal that I put you in that position but she means the world to me and for her to just run in there like that. We have to find her."Brock says. I look at my friends to see them just a confused as me about there conversation.
"Brock we will find her. We are going back to find her ok. Forget the damn dare you and I are going in there ourselves." Cali says. Finally Angela speaks up.
"What the he'll where you guys doing in those woods?" Angela yells. Brock and Cali look at us before glaring. What's wrong with them?
"Guys, what's wrong?" I ask. The look at us with disgust clearly written all over there face. Did we do something?.
"Like you guys could give two shits about what happens to us. What happened to 'We're in this together forever. Dares are dare.' Huh?" Cali exclaims quoting our motto. What does that have to do with this?
"Look, it would just be best if you guys kept your distance." Brock says calmly.
"No we won't keep our distance. You guys are our best friends." Vladimir says irritated.
"Look if we were you guys friends you wouldn't plan to ditch us behind our backs. This is one of the most dangerous dares we have done and for you guys to just go and ditch us. Especially you Jace. We started the whole dare thing and you do this. I quit." Cali yells enraged. We all look at her in shock.
"I quit too." Brock whispers. Just as he finished saying that a girl scream comes from the woods. Cali starts sprinting towards the woods before Brock tackles her to the ground.
"Cali you just told me not to go running into the woods without being prepared." He shouts. She slowly gets up before nodding.
" Yeah I know I just freaked knowing she is alive. She means the world to you so we have to help her." She says.
She? There is someone else there.
"There is someone in there." Damion asks.
"Ahsley." Was all Brock mumbled before letting tears pour down his face. Ashley was his girl friend. They have been dating like for three or two years now. She just like ran into the woods. That explains what happened. She must have ran into the woods causing Brock to chase after her and then Cali to chase after him. They then must have ran into trouble and ran out not being able to find Ashley. Brock and Cali say there good bye before leaving. Leaving us. Leaving our friendship. Leaving the Dares. Leaving everything. They have officially left.
