Myl. One of the separated villages from the kingdom of Seyt was having a celebration for the arrival of the most anticipated guest of the year. It was time to take the next step concerning the upcoming war with their former Kingdom Seyt.

The conflict between the village and it's superior Seyt, wasn't one that had started recently, for years there had been a disagreement between them leading to do many meetings by the elders and witches and even sometimes impromptu visits from the King of Seyt himself, all for a land which to the Myls was given to them by their ancestors, a land mysteriously but literally flowing with gold and silver, blessed with the best soil that birthed the best fruits and those who stole from the land gathered informations that even the barks of the trees had gold and crystals in them.

This information got to the ears of the King of Seyt himself, King Dariun. He knew it would bring more foreign marketers to his kingdom because his kingdom's economy was already failing and that land was their only cure, this was what led to the disagreement after all, and finally leading to the upcoming war.

Myl was one of the smallest villages in Seyt, yet it was known to be the most blessed because it flourished better than every other tribe in the kingdom, making them have pride in the land, for they believed they were the most privileged of God than any other tribes.

Their prides got so thick, that it made whatever King Dariun had to say as a negotiation for their land as waste. It was an unshakable decision to never hand over their sacred land to their former ruler and their village head, Lord Nareem became their new ruler as they chose to make themselves a new whole kingdom. A funny mistake to Dariun the King, but this King never knew what plan they already had in play.

A plan for power, a plan only the courageous would take, a plan to take oaths with the devil's empire, a plan of ruination.

"Narina!"

It was a very active afternoon today, especially in the village head's house, whom was now honoured with the title of a Lord since he was somewhat their ruler now. The preparation for the arrival of their highly esteemed guest was today and as much as excitement lingered everywhere in the village, fear also crawled into the hearts of some because they were dealing with people even an enemy would advise you not to deal with.

"Narina, where have you been!?" A sweet, yet stern and motherly tone rang out as soon as she sighted her daughter.

"Mother, you don't expect me to put my face out there now do you? I'm not stepping out, and that's final!" She said with the fear that every word screamed out.

"Narina, like I have said before- you are the first daughter, what am I to say if none of you girls show your face to welcome them, are you trying to put us to shame dear?" Scolded her mother, who's obvious worry made her sweat already on her forehead.

"Where is Nareth? And that daughter of yours Nirven!?" Complained Narina.

"Nareth is quite young for dealings of politics and do not speak of your sister like that- you never showed concern for her before and now in the face of fear, you remember her!" Her mother said sternly, the little anger wasn't quite shown but Narina could already tell she hit a nerve.

"Mother, all I'm trying to say is I'm scared and I do not want to go out, it's almost as if you're taking me to welcome the devil and his demons himself..." Narina's voice went softer, wanting to make her mother understand her solid point because she has heard stories from these guests that would be arriving today, as the witch would say; They were half-men - half-beasts, who could transform anytime something triggered them to, especially in the nights of full moon, they were children of the moon, but how could such a beautiful creation birth wicked, dangerous servants?
