Chapter 22

I woke up drenched in my own sweat my palms are sweaty and my heart is racing

I had a nightmare

I quickly stood up from my bed and went to check myself in the mirror

My face had nothing on it ,no scars

My heart slowly started to calm down while my whole body was still shaking

I quickly take off my clothes and hop in the shower to freshen up I decided to skip school and go to the place I prefer the most

You probably guessed it by now but if you didn't "the track"

I quickly put my hair in a low bun and leggings with a tank top

"Daisyyy!!"

I rush down stairs to see my dad standing with a card

"Here"

"What is this?"

"My credit card"

"Oh"

"Buy whatever you want for the party"

"Thank you father"

I walked to the garage and wore my racing track suit

"My babbbyyyyy"

Hugging my car ,can't a girl love her car duhhh

I opened the garage before hopping in my car and flashed so fast so no one can notice me

Before you know it I reached the track

Nothing better than the track at 6am

"Didn't expect to see you this early"

I turn around to be met by hazel eyes

"Do I know you?"

Of course I do it's the one and only James also known as jelly but turbo doesn't know him

"I believe we haven't met before"

He places his hand infront of me for me to shake and I do

"I'm turbo"

"Nice to meet you turbo I am James"

"So James Why are you here so early usually the tracks are empty at the morning" 

"I thought why not come early today to practice my skills "

"I can help you out"

"I feel like that's a trick question"

I giggled at his response 

Daisy hates this dude but turbo kinda gets along with him

He is a girl-whore if that's a thing

"Just sit in my car I'll teach you the basic"

Of course I'll help him out to be good but not as good as me

I open the car door for him

"After you m'lady"

"Omg I'm so flattered" he let out in a pitched voice that made me chuckle

After hopping in the car I decided to maybe actually help him cause he is that bad

"So the basic thing you need to know is you need a mindset"

"Yea and what is that exaclty?"

"If your cocky you're gonna win then the chances of that happening is low when you suck"

"Ouch" he placed his hand on his chest

What a drama queen maybe he should consider acting

"So look never press fully on the gas except if you can control the car"
