Jacket (Mila's Perspective)

It's day 2 of being a sophomore. I have to admit it isn't bad so far. But now I need to return Ryn's jacket.
As I get on the bus, I try to look for her. No sign. I'm sure she wouldn't mind if I put on her jacket for a bit I think. As I put on her jacket I felt something. Comfort. I don't know if it was from the jacket or it was from Ryn. I don't know. If it was from Ryn I need to snap out of it. I'm dating someone. And I love them dearly. I think...
After 2 more stops Ryn finally got on the bus.
"Hey Ryn!"
"Oh, hey."
I was kinda thinking if I should give her the jacket, I was very cold and my girlfriend doesn't give me her jacket.
"Here, your jacket."
"You can keep it on for now, you seem cold. Return it to me when you're warmed up."
I'm gonna be honest, that was not the response I was expecting. It was... New.
As we arrived I don't know what got into me but I don't say this really often to people,
"Cya during 1st and 4th period Ryn!"
When I said that it looked like she got brighter if you know what I mean. Before she went off she gave me this friendly smile. It was... Bright and comforting. Before she walked away I zoned out looking at her. I need to stop thinking of her. I'm taken for crying out loud!
But that doesn't mean I can't have a crush, right? But if that's the case, I don't even know if she's straight or not. Oh well. It's alright. I guess. Wait a minute, I STILL HAVE RYN'S JACKET! Oh well I'll return it later.
-During first break-
"RYN!"
"What's up Mila?
"Weird question, but what's your sexuality?"
"Uh why?"
"Don't ask, just tell me"
"I don't know honestly."
"Ah it's alright, you want your jacket back?"
"You can return it tomorrow."
"Alrighty!"
I have a chance! Maybe she's questioning but maybe she like girls too!
"Hey Mila."
And there's my girlfriend, Tess.
"Hi."
I'm gonna be honest I'm losing feelings for her. I don't know why. Wait. Is it because of Ryn?
"Who's jacket is that? I know that's not yours, it's too oversized."
"Oh it's from a friend."
"Who?"
"You don't have to know."
"Whatever."
It just seems like Tess never cares. It's like she's all over the place, she breaks the rules and she doesn't give a fuck about others. I might end it soon.
-during second break-
During second break I decided to meet up with Ryn and talk to her instead of Tess so I can get to know her more you know. She was very humorous and kind! It was new and very different from others. Yes she'd act violent, but most of the time she doesn't mean it. All of a sudden,
"MILA!" Yelled Tess.
Uh oh.
"Yeah?"
"Who the fuck is this lowlife?"
"It's my friend, Ryn"
"Uh hi?" Ryn timidly said with an unsure look
Tess took a glance at her and gave her a death stare. I'm sure Ryn saw that and just rolled her eyes at her.
"Who was that any ways Mila?" Ryn asked.
"It's my girlfriend, I apologized about her."
"You're good."
"Any tips to break up with her?"
"I'm not really good with advice, but just note don't break up with her over text."
"Alright. Also you sure you don't want your jacket back right now?"
"Like I said, you can give it to me tomorrow."
