L x Light

A/N: So I decided to write more because of vacation so here you go I guess.

Light was the first of the couple to wake up the next morning. Since he thought it too early he decided to go back to sleep plus he didn't want to be up without his boyfriend. He took one last look at L. How cute was his last thought before sleep overtook him.

"Light-kun wake up," a voice gentle and quiet said waking Light from his sleep. Light let out a disapproving groan before opening his eyes. The raven haired teen smiled a grin at seeing his boyfriend waking up. "Morning sleeping beauty," the raven haired teen said lightly kissing his boyfriend. Light lazily rolled over onto his partner's lap looking up at him.

"You know you look really cute for just having woken up." Ryuzaki got a light red tint spread over his face.

"Yeah yeah whatever. So eggs or waffles for breakfast."

"Can we just go out for breakfast instead. I'm sure they'll have lots of sugar and strawberry covered pancakes." L's face brightened at that.

"Let's go. Let's go right now. The older partner stood up grabbing his boyfriend's hand.

"Don't you think we should we should get dressed," Light said rolling his sleeves and sitting up revealing his nicely toned body. Ryuzaki blushed a dark red.

"Oh yeah. Right. And we should probably take a shower too," he said licking his lips dragging his boyfriend to the bathroom. L turned on the hot water smirking.

"Wait Ryuzaki can you give me some ti-" the brunette was cut off by his lover shoving him in the shower. L stepped in the shower shoving Light flat against the shower.

"I'm feeling naughty today Light-kun," the raven haired boy said slapping his boyfriend's ass. The younger male let out a slight groan while the other male ran kisses up his spine.

"Ryuzaki I love our little moments especially the ones in the shower but..." Light's stomach then grumbled followed by L's doing the same. L nodded understanding shutting off the water. The two makes got changed and walked down the street to a little breakfast restaurant. As they walked in they were greeted by a tall, blond haired, waitress.

"Hello can I start you have with some drinks," the waitress smiled gingerly at the two of them seating them to a table. Both of the males ordered coffee.

"Alright I'll give you two some time to decide on what you want. Enjoy your date." The waitress flashed them another smile before walking away.

"Well she seems nice," the brunette said as his companion nodded. "So I assume you already know what you're going to get." Ryuzaki nodded and grinned happily. The waitress came back a few minutes later asking for their orders.

"I'll have 5 pancakes with lots of strawberries and sugar." The waitress' eyes went wide at the ravenette's request.

"A-Are you sure? The pancakes are quite large and that's a large amount." The younger detective put up his hand to stop her.

"Trust me. He can inhale all of those and not gain a pound." The waitress nodded still seeming amazed and confused. While their food was being made they sat making idle conversation. When L's pancakes arrived his eyes went wide with excitement.

"L pace yourself. If you eat them too fast then you're going to be sitting here while I just eat." Ryuzaki pouted but nodded.

The two males ate their breakfast thoroughly enjoying each other's company. When they finished they paid for the bill and exited the restaurant holding hands and smiling at each other.

"I had fun", both boys said at the same time. They laughed.

"I'm kinda tired Light-kun. I think I'm gonna take a nap when we get home." Light pouted.

"Well I guess if you really need too," the brunette responded not really satisfied with his boyfriend wanting to leave him with nothing to do.

"Don't worry you big baby I need someone to cuddle me to help me sleep and I wouldn't have anyone else do it but you," L said brushing his partner's lips. As the two walked into their house they went right into their bed.

L yawned as Light wrapped his arms around L. Ryuzaki closed his eyes relaxing knowing that his boyfriend was there to protect him.

"Sleep tight sleeping beauty," Light whispered into Ryuzaki's ear.

"I love you Light-kun," the older male said before slipping into a comfortable slumber. What an amazing day we had today Light thought to himself before he to slipped into his own slumber.

Both males looked peaceful as they slept together. Their "nap" ended up turning into sleeping through the rest of the day which just happened to be 12 hours. Even though they did nothing for the whole day they just had a peaceful day together.

A/n:Wow this took me a lot longer to write then it should've. Plus a midnight update never done one of those before but anyway hope you enjoy this.
