Yesterday was okay. I did fight a lower moon. But it took 2 days to have a meeting finally called again and I was welcomed as the sun pillar to the demon slayer corps. "I still don't think she's strong enough to be a Hashira." "Shinazugawa you should have more respect for her." The wind and stone hashira bicker between themselves. At some point the flame hashira steps in and stops them from fighting more.
After the meeting I got to thinking 'Rengoku-sama didn't seem quite right… next time I see him I'll ask him what's wrong if he looked like that again!' And I head off to see Yoriichi-sensai.
Once I arrive home it was twilight. I enter the yard but Yoriichi-sensai wasn't there so I looked around but to no avail. All I could see was a note but I couldn't quite read it. Soon I was able to see it was Yoriichi-sensai writing to me. The note read like this.
"Dear, (Y/N)
I am sorry I couldn't see you become a hashira as I've been attacked by a demon. My brother, Michikatsu, better known as upper 1. I am so sorry my dear child. I wrote this in a rush
Sincerely, Yoriichi"
Soon I could feel a warm liquid running down my face. And a couple of drops fall onto the note. I realized it's my tears. After my realization I couldn't stop crying. I just went to bed to get my mind off of things.
In the middle of the night I wake up in a cold sweat. When I woke up I heard ruseling coming from outside my door. When I looked over, was my door open? I stood up and walked over to see a lower ranking demon slayer. Then I recognized who it was, "Kyojiro?" The figure looked over to me "(Y/N)? Are you alright?" He said in a panicked voice. "Yeah I'm fine… why are you here?" I say as I walk towards him and I fall off the porch face first into the dirt. "(Y/N)! ARE YOU OKAY?!?" Kyojiro panicking even more now. "I'm fine. But why are you here?" "I was sent on a mission with my father to see if the 12 kizuki member was still here." He says as Rengoku-sama walks into my estate "Kyojiro be more respectful towards her." He said in a strict voice. Looking like how he did at the pillar meeting. "Its fine." I say sitting up. Kyojiro looked kinda guilty. "Do you live here?" Rengoku-sama asked me well Kyojiro looked worried. "Yes I do, but you might want to leave as the demon is-" "I don't care who the demon is, we are trying to find them. Got it?" I looked at him and continued "is upper one. But I would prefer it if you didn't cut me off." I stood up to look at him.
No one spoke for several minutes. After what seemed like an eternity Kyojiro speaks up "should we find the de-" "shut up boy." Rengoku-sama barked at him, "Don't speak to Kyojiro like that." Rengoku-sama fell silent. I looked at both of them. "You guys might want to find the demon, but I ask for Kyojiro to stay behind for a bit." "No. I will not let Kyojiro stay behind and talk to you."
After that they briefly looked around my house and then they left, not finding anything.
