I woke up to my alarm clock screaming at me. Groaning I grabbed my phone from my bedside table, and dismissed my alarm. I took off my blanket and stretched, not even thinking about checking social media.

I grabbed a T-Shirt, shorts, and fishnets. Reluctantly making my way to my bathroom to take a morning shower. It lasted for 30 minutes; I like to take my time. I did my make up, with the usual heavy eyeliner.

While blow-drying my hair, I  got a call from Niki, "Minx!"

"Hey Niki! What's up?"

"So, a couple of us from the Dream's SMP decided to do this ultimate meet up. I know you weren't really apart of it, but Dream insisted that I invited you."

I threw my hair into two matching, purple pigtails.

"I don't know Niki. I'm going to fly down to New York to go see Schlatt, and he's going to host Austin's show."

"It's not until June."

Throwing the idea around in my head, I sighed, "Fine. But if I hear Dream and George having sex, I am leaving."

Niki laughed, "Okay! I'll go text Dream that you're going to come! Oh, and, why are you going to fly down to Schlatt?"

I turned off my bathroom light and walked into my living room. "I accidentally confessed my feelings to Schlatt and it turns out he feels the same. So, he told me to come."

"Aw! Minx! That is so cute!"

Blushing, I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, whatever. I wonder who's all going to be on the new Love or Host. I know I'm gonna lead it again. 50,000 dollars if I end up with someone!"

"Oh! Well, Austin actually reached out to me about this, because you weren't replying to him. He said, Hold on let me find it..."

Cornelius jumped on the couch and went straight on my lap, I started scratching his head.

"Here it is! 'Hey Niki, I'm sorry to disturb you, but Minx isn't answering me at all! Can you do me a favor and pass this message?' To which I responded with an, 'of course!' He then replies, 'So, tell Minx that for the in person episode, you can invite a friend to help hook you up. And the friend also has a choice, and they are the one to ask the questions. So if she has any questions to let me know ASAP.' "

"Alright. Well, Niki, book a flight for when that starts to the states. You're my friend."

"Aww! Thanks Minx! I'll put that in my schedule!"

"Alright, I got to go. Love you!"

"Love you more!"

I hung up and tossed my phone across the couch. Staring at Cornelius, "Don't make friends."

With his round eyes staring at me, he meowed. I just took that as my answer. Sighing, I let him jump down onto the floor. Listening to the light pitter-patter of his claws fade away.

Sighing, I went up to my room and started packing a light suitcase. Getting bored, I decided to live stream.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" I opened a dresser and started going through my clothes, "How long am I staying?"

"Well, aren't you going to be at the June event?"

"Crap. I forgot about that. I might as well stay there because you're closer."

"Fuck off. I'm not going to put up with you for 6 months. You might as well fucking move in with me."

I perked up, ready to tease him, "C'mon! I'll be with you for Valentines Day! I'll force you to buy me nice things!"

I rolled my eyes, "Jambo better be nice to my babies!"

We were teasing each other and being rude to each other, but then Schlatt started texting my number.

Don't leave before Valentines. Just stay for 6 months. Don't worry about rent.

I rolled my eyes and looked into the camera, "Sorry guys. I'm getting a text."

Ignoring chat, I texted Schlatt back.

I tossed my phone aside and looked back at Schlatt.

"sorry guys. I'm texting my girlfriend."

If I had known better, I'd believe him. But, for show, I made myself look deflated. Standing up, I went silent.

"What Minx?"

"Girlfriend? You didn't tell my you had a girlfriend. I am not going to put up with her for six months."

Still putting on a show, I started throwing my stuff out of the suitcase, "Minx, shut the fuck up. You're my girlfriend. Aren't you? I thought we were friends."

I looked around the floor, at my thrown clothes, "Oh. Well you could've said me."

The pointless banter carried into the night. I ordered last minute cat carriers for Sylum and Cornelious.

Chat seemed to be relentless, Schlatt's voice seemed to become distant. Like he was on the shore, and I swam in there, in the ocean. I tried to keep afloat to hear him.

But the water was blocking my hearing. Muffling his calls.

"Minx?"

"Minx?"

"Minx?"

"Becca?"

I snapped out of it and stared at my set up, "What?"

"Are you okay? You just spaced out."

"Yeah, I'm fine! Sylum was just staring at me. Well, I'm gonna end stream! Thank you guys for coming! Thanks for the raid Schlatt."

He bid the chat goodbye. As I ended the stream, he stayed in call.
