“Here's the corpse”, I pointed at the creature laying on the ground with its back facing us.

I wore my white Latex gloves and started checking the corpse. It's a girl who seems to be in her teen. A young girl. Her face is fully burned. The culprit didn't even have some mercy on this poor child. Her body looks so fragile and feeble, bones were showing up. It looks like she didn't get food for decades. She has cuts and wounds all over her body like she has been a victim of abuse. There are many new scars.

Her whole body is still wet, cause of the flood. 

I took out my camera and started clicking photos of the body from various angles.

Currently, we are on a gigantic rock which is near the inside lake in the cave.

“Y/n, watch out!!” Jungkook yelled in fear as I stumbled upon a stone, resulting in rolling down, backwards and sinking into the cold water with a loud splash that echoed in the entire cave. The lake is deep. At first, it is difficult to understand what has happened. I do know how to swim but because of the sudden fall my mind went blank, I was struggling to get to the surface, to understand which way is even up. My past trauma evoked up.

Immediately, Jungkook took off his shirt and dived into the ice-cold water. His body came in contact with mine. He extended his hands, taking me in his embrace. I gasped hard once we reached the surface. I placed my head on his left shoulder while he caressed my back, soothingly. My breath was still unstable. I shut my eyes as I felt darkness consuming me.

My peaceful sleep was broken by a melodic, deep voice of a man, humming a song. I opened my eyes and glanced at him. My head was on his bicep and his arms were around my waist, warming me. I noticed that he is still shirtless in this cold, even though we both are inside our tent.

After a few minutes of stillness, I moved my head from his upper arm and looked at him, he was already staring at me. Our noses are inches apart. I unconsciously licked my lips, making him glance at them for a few seconds.

And.... I sneezed...on his face...ON HIS FREAKING FACE!!

GOD!! It's so embarrassing.

I backed away from him, his arms were still around my waist.

I bring forward my hand to wipe his face, but he grabbed my arm.

“It's fine…” He whispered. We both sat, leaving a little space between us. I looked at myself, I am wearing a loose t-shirt, which looks like it was from Jungkook. My eyes enlarged in size. I let out a hesitant, “Umm?”

“You were shivering that's why I took off your wet clothes and made you wear my t-shirt, but- don't worry I didn't look at you at all- I swear.”
He spoke, lowly as he sensed my worry.

“Oh.” I made an 'O' shape with my mouth and didn't dare to look at him.

“Are you…gonna… stay like-like this?” I referred to him, as being shirtless.

“Um, I guess…” He looked at me, in the eyes.

My gaze went to his exposed neck then chest and then his abs. He truly is a gym freak. I gulped as I felt…wet…? Am I- NO!! I am not feeling any kind of desire for him. I looked down at my lower body. My eyes widened.

It's freaking red! Period… I only had my undies and his shirt on. “GOD! Why?” I let out, annoyed, forgetting that Jungkook is present there too.

“Cause… I don't have an extra shirt…?”

He thought I was talking to him…

“… No, not you” I sighed.

“Then, what is it?” I shook my head in denial and at the same, I felt an immense cramp in my lower abdomen. I swiftly clutched the area, crouching down. My eyebrows frowned. I let out a small whimper as the pain increased.

“Y/n”. He came near me. “Are you alright?” He rubbed my back.

“It hurts”. At this time, I was controlling my sobs. I tried to calm myself down, but the pain keep increasing.

Jungkook made me sit down and cupped my cheeks with both of his hands. “Look at me”. He demanded, and I followed. A tear slid down my left cheek. He wiped it and asked, “what happened?”

“Cramps…” I whispered. It was enough for him to understand. “It hurts”. I sobbed softly. He took me in his embrace. I closed my eyes, feeling his warmth.
