The members of ATEEZ and the rest of the kpop idols patiently waited in their changing rooms, ready to be called up on stage for the final M2Countdown results.

You could tell everyone was nervous, the air was thick with tension, so much, you could cut it with a knife. Each group desperately wanted to win, some hoping to achieve their first. Hongjoong hid his sweaty palms inside the black and white striped sleeves of his shirt, with only the tips of his fingers peaking out.

The most recent trend in kpop this year had been solo artists, not giving many groups a chance to get a single win on any shows.

As the leader of his group, Hongjoong felt responsible for every loss and gain that they had, the weight of all the late nights and the pressure from the fans were lying heavily on his shoulders. The recent events leading up to this comeback had caused his recent lack of sleep, it now finally beginning to take a toll on his mind and body. He began to flutter his eyes as he forced himself to say awake.

Loud voices rang through the speakers, calling the idols to the stage. Hongjoong quickly adjusted his skirt, before making his way quietly to the stage with the rest of his team.

Each idol lined up one by one, the individual groups trying to squish in together as much as possible, to stay as close as they can with their teammates. Hongjoong reached a hand around the back of his head, and began playing with his bright, blue ponytail.

All of a sudden, Hongjoong felt something large crash into his body, making him almost fall forward. Strong arms were suddenly wrapped around his small waist, preventing him from falling into the idol in front.

The confused male swivelled his head around to see that Yunho, his member and crush, had caught him.

“Are you okay hyung?”

The young boy asked, sincerely worried.

“I’m fine Yunnie, thanks for catching me.”

Hongjoong replied, pinching at the pink-haired boy's puffy cheeks. The younger’s face changed to a dark shade of cherry-red, clearly embarrassed from his hyung babying him in the company of many other famous idols, that were standing directly next to them.

“Hyung~”

He whined, sticking out his bottom lip to form a cute pout.

“Don’t be such a baby~”

Hongjoong laughed, amused by the tall male’s shyness. One of the two MC’s strutted up onto the stage, seemingly frustrated by the look on her small face.

“Could everyone please wait momentarily, a small incident has occurred that I need to attend to, but I will be back shortly to announce the results in a few moments.”

The MC finally finished before strutting back the way she came, a little faster this time. The men and women stood up on the stage all groaned in annoyance. It was in the middle of Summer, and the crowded mass of hot bodies pushing against each other was enough to make anyone walk out and leave.

Yunho moved closer to Hongjoong, placing his face in the crook of the smaller man’s neck to suck softly on the flesh. Hongjoong moaned quietly, trying to move away, but to no avail, because of Yunho’s arms pinning their bodies together.

“Y-Yunnie, you can’t be giving h-hyung a kiss now.”

“But I'm bored~”

He whined again into Hongjoong’s shoulder, moving his hands lower down on the older man’s waist. Hongjoong shuddered at the youngers actions, wanting the other to touch him more so badly.
