Before you read this book, I just want to warn you that there is a Tw for this chapter.
There will lots of bullying in this chapter this also involves manipulation. If you think you will get easily upset from this book, please don't read. When Jennie and Chaeyoung's relationship begins, it will be toxic but I promise you it will get better.

I walked down the corridor, head faced down the whole time. I heard muttering all around me. Their tones were described to be in disgust.

"Ew..lesbian.."

"I caught her staring at me in the changing rooms.."

"What? Ha..no way what a weirdo"

"I have to sit next to her in biology..ugh"

"Oh my god, you are so unlucky, I wouldn't want that'thing'near me."

I finally reached my locker, avoiding eye contact with the girl next to me who was also getting her books. I waited for her to leave, when she finally did, she didn't forget to give me a dirty look before walking away.

I wasn't fully paying attention to the newly found carved word that had been placed on my locker, because I was focusing on avoiding that girl.

"Dyke"

I traced my thumb over the carved word. There was no way it was going to come off.

This wasn't new to me, don't worry, I've had worse..

I opened my locker, grabbing my notebook and pencil. It was already lunch time, I would usually go to my music teachers classroom to spend my lunch there.

I was on my way, to greet my favourite teacher Miss Soo, she was always there for me and I would tell her everything that happens in school. She is my only friend.

I was suddenly halted by my pe teacher.

"Chaeyoung.." She sighed at me, hinting she was disappointed at me for something.

"You haven't signed up for a club, since your whole school years here." She grabbed something from her pocket, giving me a piece of paper with a timetable printed on it.

"You are joining the Cheer squad."

Oh no this can't be happening.

"You are the only girl who hasn't signed up for a club since you first joined this school." The coach crossed her arms. "Do cheerleading and you can drop out next year."

"But-" The coach raised an eyebrow.

"No buts, now off you go" Coach walked away. .

"I expect you to there after school, I've called your parents and they've said it is okay" She called out walking down the corridor.

I can't go.. Nancy and her stupid friends are gonna be there.

I hurried of to Miss Soo's class to tell her the news.

"Oh hello Chaeyoung, nice to see you again"
Miss greeted me.

She was sitting by her desk replacing some strings on a broken guitar.

"Oh Miss Soo" I exaggerated. "please tell my pe teacher that I simply can't do Cheerleading." I moaned plopping my self down onto one of the desks at the front row.

Miss Soo looked up in surprise.

"Ooh Cheerleading, that sounds nice"

"It is certainly not." Miss Soo looked at me in disbelief.

"It certainly is. That's how you become popular, you could probably pull a girl with your amazing skills" Miss winked dramatically, making her glassess slip down. She adjusted it making sure its in place.
