I was expected to be there by 5:30 to board the plane and it arrive in Lauderdale at 8:25.
Not a problem since it is 2:30. I grabbed my beat-up air force ones and slip them on. I check myself out of the motel and began to walk to the nearest store.
A/N ( my bad I meant to mention that she lived in new york)
I get to a shop and buy some random off-brand chips with Arizona. I walk out and sit on the curb. I ordered an uber and waited. I began to get lost in my thoughts, thinking about my mom's drunk hatred towards me and my brother. When stokes was here - we both had to deal with her abusive ways.
But ever since he left I've been her main focus.
My phone vibrates letting me know the uber was near by and to meet them in a minute.

I got in and instantly put in my air pods so they wouldn't have an urge to speak to me.
*After the drive*
I reached the airport and checked in and went through security. I didn't have to put my bag on the conveyor for the undercarriage because all I had was a duffel. I went ahead and sat down. not even five mins a tall light-skinned boy approached me.
"Hey ma, I saw you and kn-" I put my air pods ind and turned my music all the way up.
He saw and shook his head and had the sourest face. The boy ended up walking away and a mix of disappointment and anger. Not too long after, we all started boarding. Before the plane departure and we lost connection I sent stokes a text.
