God, I HATE having the urge to write but can't even come up with prompts or premises to WRITE ABOUT 😡

D/N - Daughter's Name

•••

The morning after your mother said she couldn't watch D/N for longer was absolute chaos. Between you driving around the city, gathering as much toddler supplies you could afford, and attempting to find space for everything, you barely had any time to breathe before your parents arrived with your daughter.

The boys stood close to the stairs as you ran to open the door. Your mother stepped in, carrying D/N on her hip.

Smiling, you moved to take your daughter from her, "Hi baby girl! Did you miss me?"

The toddler giggled as you cooed before you shifted your focus back to your mom.

After a brief conversation, your mother left and you motioned for the boys to come closer, finally introducing them to D/N.

The next day, Matthew was watching D/N while you tended to some work.

While taking a break, you found the two in the living room, Matthew sitting on the couch and D/N beside him. He held out to her a small stuffie in the shape of some sort of humanoid goat.

You silently watched as he spoke to her, "This is a faun. They're found where Uncle Matthew's from."

You cleared your throat to alert the incubus of your presence. He looked up, giving D/N the chance to squeeze at the toy still in his hands.

You approached the couch, "So...'uncle' Matthew?"

The demon blushed as you sat next to your daughter.

"W-well, I've always wanted to be the 'fun uncle' and it'll probably take forever for any of my brothers to even find a spouse, let alone have a kid."

"And I see you're teaching her about the Abyssal Plains too." You responded, watching D/N thrash the toy around.

"Yeah. Depending on how long we stay here, demons and the Plains could either educate her or just really weird stories."

You giggled, "Yeah, I guess it would..."

You trailed off. Thinking about the boys leaving, especially when they seem to be doing well around your daughter put an uneasy feeling in your stomach.

"Maybe I could ask them to stick around, just for a little while longer."
