Knock knock

"Mr. Kang?"

"Ah Yeonjun, please come in"

Yeonjun walked into his boss's office taking a seat on one of the leather chairs in front of his desk. He wasn't necessarily nervous even though the man in front ran the deadliest Mafia group in the Seoul district. Him and his boss had a different relationship than the other members. Although he wasn't nervous he was definitely curious and wanted to get down to the point on why he was summoned here.

"So Yeonjun, I have a new guy who should be joining us soon. I want you to show him the ropes, also I'll be pairing you two up on a majority of your missions"

"With all due respect sir why not have one of the lower ranked members do this task? I am far too busy already to babysit any newbies"

"But this is no ordinary newbie, he already has tons of experience and outranks all the other members. If anything he may already be close to outranking you Yeonjun"

Knock knock

"Ah Soobin, please come take a seat"

Yeonjun observed the tall and quite handsome man that walked through the door. He was rather very fashionable which is a major complement coming from the Choi Yeonjun. His jawline was sharp yet soft and round at the same time, he had immaculate visuals and his side profile was perfect. Yeonjun was quickly knocked out of his trance as he witnessed Soobin being clumsy.

"Thank you sir- Ah!"

Soobin tripped on air as he was walking towards the leather seat next to Yeonjun. The tall lad managed to catch himself before he face planted on the floor. Yeonjun noticed how the guy's ears became red from embarrassment and quickly placed himself on the leather seat.

How does this guy have the skills to almost outrank me?

"Yeonjun? Hey Yeonjun!"

Yeonjun snapped out of his thoughts noticing how he had been staring at the newbie for who knows how long. He quickly averted his attention back to his boss nodding to signal he was listening.

"So for today I task you with the job of showing Soobin around the training area, and while you're at it try and get to know each other. After all it will make the missions easier if you know your partner's strengths and weaknesses"

"Yes sir"

"Okay you two may leave now"

The two got up to leave and that's when Yeonjun noticed how much taller the guy was compared to him. He felt a little bit jealous but didn't mind it much and continued walking out the office. They were now in the hallway facing each other, an awkward atmosphere surrounding them making the new guy visibly uncomfortable.

"So um...I'm Choi Soobin"

Soobin stuck his hand out for Yeonjun to shake but he ignored it, this made the taller lad nervously laugh as he took his hand back rubbing the back of his neck.

"Choi Yeonjun"

"Oh we're both Choi's...that's cool we have something in common. So how-"

"Who are you."

"Hm? I just said I'm Choi Soobin"

"No who are you and why are you here?"

Soobin's formed an 'o' shape with his mouth as he finally understood the question Yeonjun was asking. He never liked telling his reasoning for joining the Mafia so the taller lad quickly thought of a story to tell.
