APRIL 10, 2020: UNIQUE ANNIVERSARY
It's been a few weeks since I settled into being at home. The rise in cases was very unexpecting and having my mom work as a nurse is even more scary. However, our family learned ways to stay calm by having family time. We would turn off our phones and watch a movie, swim, or even paint something in the house. At the time, I was distracted from the outside world. However, I was beginning to miss my friends, boyfriend, and college in general. Today is our six months anniversary, I am so happy to even be with him for this long. For a long time, I didn't trust people with my emotions. When we started to date, I felt a different energy, and he understood my situation. Even though we couldn't be in person, we called each other and ate food while watching our favorite movie. I know this wasn't expected for our six month anniversary, but as long as we are both healthy and together I was happy.
