'Why do I have to go to this stupid Alfa meeting? Why cant Michael go on his own?' You mind linked your parents. Yes, your a 17 year old girl on your way to America. Everything for just an alfa meet and greet that happens every year. Your the youngest to attend, because you recently took over from your mother. She just retired from alfa duties in the pack, with you being the only child that doesn't have a pack yet, you had to become the new alfa. The pack didn't mind, but you never really wanted to be an alfa but ur the youngest in the family. What you didn't know is that u have a birth mark in the shape of a crown on your neck. It shows that you'll be the next Alfa Queen when you find your mate.
'Honey, Michael is going. Remember? Besides you have to get used to these meetings, they're a really great way to find your mate.' Your mother told you by using the mind link.
'Okay, but I doubt I'm going to find my mate this soon. I'm not even 18 yet. Yes, I shifted a month before my 18th birthday, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be mated when I come back home.' Your birthday is in 2 days.

You climb out of the car, that has been driving for about an hour, and grab your suitcase. After waiting for Michael, your older brother, to take his suitcase and telling his mate that he's going to be fine. You guys went through the whole situation of just getting on your private plane, thanks to your parents who is actually THE King and Queen of England. The plane took off and you decided to take an 5 hour long nap.
5 Hours later.
"Ashley fucking Johnson, wake up. Were here." Michael said, hes actually good looking. Short jet black hair, sea green eyes and a perfectly toned body.
"I'm awake." You groggily said. After getting off the metallic space can, you and your annoying older brother got into a black SUV and drove off to the night wing pack.
'Uhg, why do I have to be here? I'm your beta, Ash.' Your beta, Lose... uh I mean Liam, said through mind link.
'Apparently, you have to come with since Michael's beta is coming. Besides I also don't wanna be here. But....... it's a nice way to find your mate. Or so my parents say.' You said and saw that Liam is struggling not to laugh. Which of course makes you start laughing, well now your brother thinks that you're a idiot.
"Uh... is there something we should know about? What has made you two laugh?" Michael asks. "Nothing, it's just something alfa Ashley has said." Liam said, you elbowed him in the ribs.
"Your lucky that your my beta and best friend." You said through gritted teeth "Well would you look at that. Isn't that the pack house of the night wing pack?"
"Yes, it is! Good eye there Ash." William, Michael's beta, said.
'I cant wait to see what happens next. Mabe I will have an excuse to go back to England, then I can leave your sorry arse here.' You told Liam, through mind link of course.
"Hey, that's not fair." Liam said forgetting that were still in the car with Michael and William.
"Oh, please do tell what's not fair. Is it something my little annoying sister said?"
"I joked that when we leave, I'll leave him behind to swim all the way to England."
'You've gotten good at lying to your older brother, see I told....' he couldn't finish the sentence since you bonked him on his head.
"Stop fighting you two. We have to meet the alfa now." Michael said. You climb out of the car, to see that a omega of the night wing pack was waiting at the pack house door.
