Marcanne: Tulips

Marcy's Pov:

I walked towards the plantars home as I stuffed tulips into my bag. I needed them for a potion I had been needing to make for Maddie. I arrived at the fwagon as I greeted Joe sparrow before I walked inside.

I placed my bag on the ground next to my bed. I grabbed my note pad and sat down as I starting writing down potential new potion combinations. Sasha was supposed to come to Wartwood for the trip to the first temple but I highly doubt it.

She's a very wanted criminal by the Newtopian government since she's associated with grime. And I am the kings second hand man so, that just doesn't seem right.

I placed my notepad on the bed as I got up. I walked to the basement and there was no trace of Anne.

'Must be in town'

I thought as I shrugged. I walked up to the sprigs room to ask him where Anne had been.

M: Hey Sprig, you seen Anne?

S: Yeah she said she was headed to the store to help hop pop with the groceries.

M: Thanks sprig!

S: You're welcome!

I ran to the store and as I did I bumped heads with Anne.

M: Oof!

A: Ow!

Anne looked up as she saw me. I stared at her then waved awkwardly.

A: Mar-Mar! Haven't seen you all morning where have you been!

M: Just gathering supplies for a potion I was supposed to make for Maddie.

Anne stood up as she grabbed my hand and pulled me. We stood up holding hands. I blushed a little.

H: Anne, a little help?

We looked at hop pop as he was holding 4 bags.

A: Oh, sorry hop pop! Give me two.

Anne let go of my hand as she grabbed two bags. I was kind of sad and my hand felt empty. We walked back talking about dumb stuff. We made it back and I stepped in the fwagon as Anne went inside the house.

I had a strange funny feeling in my stomach that had been there ever since Anne and I held hands. Why did I feel so... happy and giggly?

I put it all together, I had a crush on Anne! I had been feeling this way for some time now but I hadn't suspected it was a crush! I know it was like super obvious but I was denying it.

I sat on the floor of the fwagon thinking about Anne. I heard the door open. I whipped my head towards the door as I sat up.

A: Mar-Mar why are you on the floor?

Anne said as she smiled and giggled a bit. Her smile and laugh made my tummy squirm.

M: come in Anna-banana!

Anne stepped in and closed the door behind her. She stood there then flopped down next to me.

A: So, whatcha been doing in here?

M: Just thinking about some stuff.

A: What stuff?

M: Oh nothing just potions and stuff!

I lied as I didn't want Anne to know what I was REALLY thinking about.

A: Sprigs been insisting about taking us to a surprise place for our friendaversary.

Anne was right, it had almost been 10 years since we first met!

A: So, You in?

M: Heck yeah!

I said as I hugged Anne. She giggled and hugged me back. I thought of it as a date but it wasn't because it was just to celebrate our friendship.

A: sprig said he's going to tell us when we have go.

M: sounds good!

-Time Skip-

Anne and I walked blind folded as we were lead by sprig. He stopped and said to take off our blind folds. We did and there it was, a field of tulips all in different colors. It looked like a rainbow.

Anne's Pov

There was a whole field of tulips. I looked over and saw that sprig was gone! I looked at Marcy and she looked stunning. perfect even! I had liked Marcy for awhile now. I just never told her friendship wise.

M: come one Anne!

Marcy said as she grabbed my hand. I blushed as we ran through the tulips. We laugh as we fell onto the flowers. I looked at marcy smiling. She looked at me smiling aswell. I picked a flower and placed it into her hair.

A: You look beautiful Marcy.

M: you too Anne..

We sat there in silence. I blushed as Marcy hugged me.

M: Anne will you go on a date with me?

Marcy said as she released me from her grasp.

A: Of course Marcy!

We smiled at eachother before we laid back down onto the tulips.

M: I love you Anne.

A: I love you too Mar-Mar.
