Friday afternoon.

I sat quietly at the coffee shop, waiting for Dua. She said to meet there at 2 and it was already 2:07.

"Sorry I'm late!" She rushed in.

"You're fine" I smiled.

She sat down in the chair in front of me. We both ordered a coffee and a muffin. We just got to know each other a bit more.

"You look pretty" She said after swallowing a big sip of coffee.

"Thank you. This might seem weird but like you're probably the prettiest girl I've ever seen." I said.

I just realized what I had said. She probably thinks I'm obsessed with her now.

"What the hell? That's like the best compliment I've ever gotten. But you know what, you've got the prettiest eyes I've ever seen. And you're actually so pretty I think you're prettier than I am." She explained.

I was stunned. The prettiest girl I've ever seen just called me prettier than her? I understand the eye thing, I have blueish-green eyes... but I'm prettier than her? No way.

"You should come home with me. You can meet my sister too. She's a huge fan." I suggested.

"Oh, of course! I'd love to come." She smiled.

We stayed at the shop for another half and hour and then she came home with me. She sat in the passengers seat beside me.

"So what kind of music do you listen to?" I asked her.

"My own."

"Do you actually?" I asked.

"No I'm kidding." She laughed. "I listen to Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Nelly Furtado, you get the point."

She was sitting beside me in my bed. I forgot that I still had pictures of Sydney on my wall at my house here in Pasadena.

"Who's she?" Dua asked, pointing to a picture of Syd.

"That's Sydney" I said.

"Oh." She said surprisingly. "She's pretty".

"Not prettier than you." I said.

We both laughed. We talked for a while until things started to get a little warm. It was getting darker in my room and it got to the time of day where our moods change.

"So... do you want to spend the night-" Dua cut me off with her lips pressing against mine.

She was kissing me so softly. Better than Syd. I never wanted this kiss to end. She was getting a bit more aggressive as time went on and before I knew it, she was on top of me.
