The plan was simple-
The Alpha family of the blood moon pack was hosting the annual mate ball tomorrow, which was open for all, each year hosted by a different pack. It was basically kept to help the young wolves find their mates.

Mates.

Never been a topic I had been interested in. Maybe because Aiden always told me that love was one of the greatest weakness a wolf can have, and it indeed was. Thereby making a mate your greatest weakness, so why would I want a mate if he would only make me weak?

Though this year I would be attending the stupid mate Ball, not to find my useless mate but to carry out my mission to kill princess Chloe. As expected this year's Ball was to be hosted by the blood moon pack, the Alpha family had to arrange it and thereby making their pressesnce essential. So of course the princess would be there and as the event would be public, there would be a massive crowd, making my mission and gateway easier.

To accompany me I was taking the two people I grew up with and trusted the most: Rosie and Brian

As I sat on my bed making the plans the door was bashed open but I didn't even look up having been used to it. This was how Rosie was usually : dramatic

"How could you!!" She exclaimed as she slammed the door shut and sat on her bed which was just opposite to mine.

"What now Rose?" I said, my voice clearly showing how tired I was as I leaned back on my bed with the sheet in  my had, examining it, to check if I had missed anything

"I just heard that your newest assignment was to kill princess Chloe, but you didn't even tell me! And here I thought we were best friends and told each other everything!" She said getting up and lieing doing beside me "wait what are you doing? Why is my name written in my name written on that paper? Wait you're taking me with you? Thank youuuuu I knew you were my best friend! Wait why's Brian's name written on it? You know I hate him!!"

"Calm down Rosie! I swear you're so bipolar, would you at least let me explain?"

"When did I say not to?" She said bluntly snatching the sheet of paper from my hand

I shook my head before explaining to her about how I myself had just got to know about the assignment and how I would never leave her alone and would always need her, I also told her why I needed Brian as he was our only way out and the person best for the position, also someone I greatly trusted. At the end of my explanation she sighed and nodded.

"Fine I get it but you 're missing one thing, which is not included in your plan" she said pointedly

I snatched the paper from her and re read everything "what? Everything is there?"

"The dresses! Aren't we going to a Ball after all? Should we both have a dress which didn't seem like we were from a mafia or something?"

"Rosie we are rogues, we are a kind of mafia" I deadpanned

"You know what I mean! Everything you have is all black and different types of fighting gears, which is not suited for a ball"

"Hey I do have a dress, um- uh, Ya! The one I wore when I went to kill the witches who lived on the west side of the forest, they were fooled at once, thought I was actually some girl who had lost her way home while coming back from the fair" I said smilling at the memory

" that was an year back, Kath"
"Hey its not my fault that haven't been any assignments lately which required dresses, and as far as I'm concerned I'm only a rogue not a Luna of some big pack, I don't need dresses" I said getting up and searching through my wardrobe trying to find a dress by chance but failing.

"Fine then it's set we're going out to by dresses tomorrow!" She said excitedly clapping her hands together"

And that is how ladies and gentlemen, I knew tomorrow was going to be a disaster.

{okay so this and the next chapter are just gonna be kind of filler chapters, but after that the real drama will start :D. Also if you see any mistakes please correct me, anyways bye!! And thanks for reading}
