"UGH, I MESSED UP I MESSED UP!"

You grabbed at the tufts of your hair, staring down at the grass under you. The meeting had just ended and Everyone had split their ways

You found yourself there just having a mini panic attack, beating yourself up in the process.

The humiliation and embarrassment got to you. You were definitely taking it that way, even if it wasn't that profound. You sat up as soon as you realized what situation you had put yourself in. You let go of your patch of hair and took a deep breath while closing your eyes.

Being a single mother at a young age plus two jobs. Stressing wasnt even on the plate.

and there was just no time for it.

"You will get through this. Its fine. Its okay

You felt a warm hand glide on your back ever so lightly. It was like you were being heard. Or watched even.

switly, you swing your head around and your eyes meet with his emotionless ones.

The presences making butterflies fill up in your stomach.

It was Yoriichi.

He had that same blank face that he walked around with. Nothing seemed to change about him not even by the slightest bit. You couldnt even tell if he wanted to be here or not. Soon, an awkward tension seemed to form.

The last encounter was definitely not the best, He seemed like he saw someone through your eyes. And just freaked out completly. You decided to put that all behind and you gave him a soft smile.

"Thank you, Yoriichi. I really needed to hear that." You confess to the taller man, Your eyes seemed to sparkle while looking into his. He then just smiled slightly back at you and he stood up from his crouching position. then turnt his back away from you. "Theres no need to thank me." His voice spoke deeply and in a slightly mellow tone before walking away, his small footsteps grew fainter as he disappeared in the forset.

You just sat there, not knowing how to feel. Shocked, embarrassed? flushed?

When that last thought crossed your head, your eyes widened and you shook your head. Flushed has to be the last thing on your mind. This man was supposed to be the master eventually. Your leader. But you couldnt help but think about his drop dead gorgeous features as you made the path back home.

When you made it inside of your home, you were hit with a warm breeze. You took a deep breath in and gently exhaled it out. Overthinking about a man should be last on your list but, everyone deserves more happiness..right?

"Mama! mama!" Your bundle of joy dashed to you quickly. Like every other day, he hugged your waist and was very energetic. He couldnt help himself from telling you everything he did when you were gone supporting for both him and you.

---

Walking with your son to the kitchen, he expressed the games he played and how be mostly watched the nature outside. He was getting more animated as he carried on and eventually he starting coughing.

"Oh baby..What did I tell you about hyping yourself up too much?" You lead him to his room and sat him on his bed. You then grabbed a nutrient pack from the mini fridge in his room. Walking over to him, you rolled up his sleeve before hooking up all the tubes to the nutrient pack ad also the already filled water pack on the iv.

"Okay, just rest for me now honey" You gave your son a kiss on his cheek and he laid down on his bed, catching his breath slowly. "Okay mommy" He replied back with a huge grin on his face.

You quietly left his room, shutting the door behind you. You couldnt help but rest your back on the door and glance up at the ceiling. It must have been hours you stood in that position because the sun was falling already.

Your eyes stopped glowling with the sun and the sunlight disappearing caused you to look away from your current sight. You gripped the Hilt of your sword that laid in the scabboard and your eyes squinted immediately from feeling a odd presence nearby.

"Fuck" You think to yourself as you felt it only grow stonger. Causing you to grip the Hilt even harder. You dashed out of the door immediately and exaimed around your lot and the houses on the area. The scent becoming more clear now, it was for sure a demon. A demon that was strong wad the preace filling up the air that made your stomach twist and turn.

"Just come out." You said in a exhausted voice. Not chasing around demons to fun at all especially now that your son is home alone completely.

"You don't have any enjoyment in your blood, do you?" A comforting voice could be heard. You swung your head in front of you to see who was speaking, and you saw a lovely young man with a fan in front of his face, but not so much that you couldn't see his attractiveness. His eyes were lighted by the setting sun, revealing the colors of an upper moon. His hair, with its spikyness and finely colored white hair, drew attention as well.

"Well arent you a pretty young lady. Whats your name hm?" That same soothing voice spoke as Blood trailed down his lip. This was obviously not the first person he encountered before making his way here.

You didnt even know what to think or at that, what to say. How dangerous was this one? He was a upper six so many years ago and you knew damn well he's grown since then.

You drew your sword but stood there frozen with your trembling hands and you stared directly into his different colored eyes. You didnt know if you should speak to him. You didnt want to speak to him but if you were gonna get your life sav-

"Mommy?'

You turnt so quickly back to see your son by the door, rubbing his eyes ever so lightly

"Whats all that noise?"
