Captain x y/n -mlm

You notice the captain begin to walk down the stairs, he looked happy. But happier than you've ever seen him. It was like something had snapped in his head the night before.
"Ah y/n would you like to accompany me via a walk around the grounds on this beautiful morning" the captain said brightly. You were slightly flustered, you'd always had a crush on the captain, "I - I well.. I lov-." You were cut off by Thomas jumping in, he's had a crush on you from the moment you died although it has never been reciprocated, "urm actually captain me and y/n are going to... dance... yeah, dance."
"We are?" You responded slightly confused as this was the first time Thomas had mentioned the dance.
"Yes, yes we are so cap I'm really sorry but y/n is occupied by me" Thomas said with a sort of evil glint in his eye. He took you away before the captain was even able to reply, he knew he would have to wait for dusk to take you away.

"Alison, Alison- we need some music" Thomas shouted.
"Are you dancing again" just answered back walking into the room, "oh, well I'm glad you've stopped lusting over me." She put on Thomas' usual music on, you were already dreading this.
"If music be the food of love" Thomas said pointing at you expending you to finish it and starting to waltz around the room.
"... play on" you said reluctantly not wanting to get the wrong idea. A smile filled his face, love in his eyes.
"Y'know why don't we ditch the dancing, let's go to my room." He grabbed your arm before you were even able to think of an answer. You can't have your first gay experience to be with him- you don't even remotely like him even in a friend way, he's insufferable. You soon reached his room, he sat down on the bed and tapped the space next to him, indicating for you to take a seat.
"Thomas no... I'm sorry I just don't like you like that" you mumbled, even though you didn't like him even as a person it still felt horrible.
"Right we'll that's fine because I don't like you either, leave then," he said bitterly. The walls of button house were extremely thin and upon leaving his dull room you were able to hear the sobs of a dramatic yet broken man.

You had stayed in your room ever since you had made Thomas cry, no doubt he did the same. You had to give yourself some time away, away sort of confrontation filled you with a sort of anxious sinking feeling. You had watched the sun set from your room and the indoctrinating beauty that filled the sky in the form of the stars which reflected onto the still water of the lake. A light voice sounded from the outside of your room, relieving the weight of today off of your chest, "y/n?"
"Come in" you responded as the captains friendly face entered through the wall.
" I was wondering if you'd now like to go for a turn about the grounds"
"I'd love too" you replied, your heart screaming with happiness.

"May I?" The captain said, holding his arm out ready to link yours as soon as you both got outside. Without hesitation you put you arm around his and snuggled into his strong arm pretending to be able to feel the bitter night. You both made your way towards the lake still linking, your heart beating fast and your love for this amazing man growing by the second. He sat down by the edge of the lake and patted the grass beside him, this answer was the complete opposite of the one Thomas got. You sat down and cuddled back into his arm.
"Why did you bring me out here" you questioned him.
"Because well urm... I like you, like more than a friend and I understand if you don't feel the same like obviously I'd be hurt but I would understand" he said frantically. You stopped his scared babbling through a kiss. He was processing the sudden warm touch on his soft rosy lips for a few seconds before melting into it. You pushed his chest down so his back would press onto the frozen green grass, he lay looking up into your lustful eyes. Suddenly he pulled you down by your shirt and embraced you into a longer kiss, it was easy to tell he'd been waiting for this moment for months, he wanted to last. You fell off his chest laughing- you couldn't believe your dreams ha become a reality.
"You liked it then?" The captain joked. In response you kissed his cheek and stroked the other side of his face then snuggled into his arm.

"Y/n!!!" Shouting began, you were startled and shot up from the sleep that caps arm had induced you in. It was Thomas. Shouting your name repeatedly.
"So you fall for this charlatan, this cad, this.... Wazzock and not for me, the handsome poet" he continued.
"Thomas I'm sorry but I just don't like you" you said looking into to the captain eyes, you could tell he was trying not to laugh.
"What does he have that I don't. I'm him and more, at least I'm not a repressed old officer." Thomas mumbled not really knowing what to say. You were about to answer as the captain pulled you in for a kiss, slipping a tongue in your mouth but making sure Thomas could see. He just stared with intrigue, love and anger. But the captain persisted and brought his hand up to the back of your head, pulling the short hair. Once he moved away, he placed his forehead on yours and said "I love you."
"I love you more" you said looking into his lustful eyes. Thomas walked off and you both lay back down onto the grass to watch the rest of the sunrise.

After a while you walked back into button house, hand in hand. Both happy and content you entered into the kitchen as it was where all of the other ghosts, Alison and Mike started the day off.
"Morning you too" Alison said with a wink.
"Oh god, what has Thomas told you"
"Oh yeah, I just assumed he was lying" she continued "he was just saying how you two were bullying him and how he's in love with me again."
"Anyway, did you two have a nice night out by the lake was hoping for more than a quick snog, i mean I was expecting more I could see something in the captains pants from my bedroom" Julian said knowing it would make the captain blush. Alison spat out her cereal onto Mike upon hearing Julians comment.
"Alright- I'm sure they don't want to discuss this right now, they've only been together for one night" pat said upon seeing how embarrassed the both of you were
"Right well I'm working outside today" Alison said finishing her cereal off. A gasp ascended from kitty's mouth, " can someone play hide and seek with me, captain and y/n are the only ones who haven't played yet."
"Right yes we'll come out" captain said following kitty out with you following soon behind him. "Odds on there gonna be snogging in a bush" Julian laughed as robin acted it out next to him. As you were walking out the captain spun on his heels and grabbed your hands, "I really love y..." he was soon cut off by a soft kiss pressed on his lips. You were both in love.
